In short
Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch is a black pork barbecue restaurant in Jeju, Jeju. On my first meal of the trip, I tried Nanchukmatdon black pork in four combinations with mel braise, mel, and scallions; the third combination was unforgettable. Verdict: a seriously satisfying first stop in Jeju.

When you think of Jeju Island, you think of black pork!!! Right?! ₍ᐢ`🐽´ᐢ₎ So as soon as I arrived in Jeju on this trip, I had Nanchukmatdon black pork—and it was so good that I had to tell you about it!!! I later found out it was even featured on Choi Jara's Road! With three hours of free parking, staff who grill it for you, and easily the best thing I ate during my Jeju trip, here is Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch (포크80 제주공항점).

10 minutes by car from Jeju Airport, with 3 hours of free parking
It is on the first floor at 37-1 Noyeon-ro, Jeju-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, and is open daily from 11:30 to 23:30. Last orders are at 22:30, and three hours of free parking are available at 25 Wonnoyeong 3-gil, Jeju-si. The restrooms are separated by gender, Wi-Fi is available, corkage has a fee, and reservations can be made through Naver Reservation.

We rented a car and drove straight to Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch! It took only 10 minutes from the airport, so we went there for our first meal on the first day of our Jeju trip!

Yep, we're in Jeju! A dolhareubang stone grandfather statue holding down the fort with major presence! Plus… a pig grandfather?

As soon as we entered, seeing this fresh Nanchukmatdon black pork made me even more excited!

A comfortable meal at well-spaced tables
The tables were generously spaced and somewhat divided, so we could hear each other without having to speak loudly.

The tables were wide too, making the meal comfortable. Every seat came stocked with cups, small plates, wet wipes, and more, so there was no need to call over a staff member.

From Nanchukmatdon to side dishes
There is a wide range of Nanchukmatdon options, as well as fresh Jeju pork ribs and marinated ribs, so order whatever suits your taste! But I recommend the Nanchukmatdon!!! (It is seriously, seriously delicious..)

There are lots of side-menu options too! (TMI...) It was so delicious that I ate two bowls of rice... At that point, I probably could have ordered the kimchi fried rice.....! I considered it, but thought it might be too much, so I ordered plain rice instead...ㅠ

These are the basic side dishes—and there are a whopping six kinds....

I was thinking, “Six kinds of basic side dishes?!” as I tried them one by one, and then I realized they even serve marinated raw crab as a basic side dish! Amazing..

Nanchukmatdon served whole in four combinations
⊹A plate of Nanchukmatdon⊹ has arrived. It comes with scallions and mushrooms too.

The staff grill the entire first batch, so all you have to do is eat! What is seriously amazing about Pork80—can you see the grill sucking up the smoke? I cannot even imagine how powerful it is. Thanks to that, when we left after eating, there was absolutely no meat smell on our bodies or in our hair!!!

Once the meat is cooked, they set it aside like this. (っ'-')╮Must-read =͟͟͞͞♡ Pork80 recommends eating its Nanchukmatdon whole in one bite rather than cutting it up if possible. Even if you normally cut your meat into small pieces, try it whole in one bite! You can really feel the juices bursting in your mouth!!

For the first bite, keep it simple and dip it in matcha salt. (Add wasabi if you like!)

For the second, have it with pickled chili peppers! And the mel braise that came with it... It is on a completely different level from the meljeot fish sauce I had in Seoul... Soak the grilled Nanchukmatdon thoroughly in the mel braise, then lightly cook it again over charcoal, and it is 𓆩heaven𓆪.

For the third combination, lightly grill the meat after soaking it in mel braise, then eat it with mel, a small Jeju fish! It was my first time eating mel like this, and the savory depth was even better!!

The fourth combination is mel braise + scallions!! The staff make all four combinations for you, so you only have to eat; after that, enjoy it however you like. My pick was the third combination✨ mel braise + mel + meat!

Added soft tofu stew and wrapping up the meal
And here is the sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew) we ordered extra! It was reliably tasty, and it was packed with meat too. (We ordered ours separately, but make a Naver Reservation, leave a photo review, and get a sundubu-jjigae!)

They even had mouthwash in the restroom?! Thoughtful +1!!! | ᐕ)੭*⁾⁾
- Anyone looking for great black pork near Jeju Airport
- Also recommended for group gatherings—engagement-family meetings, work dinners, and more
- Anyone who wants meat but hates the smell clinging to their body
- Anyone wanting black pork somewhere that is not overly noisy! (The wide table spacing is so nice)
I was so happy with Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch as the first meal of my Jeju trip that I totally recommend it! The staff grilled the meat kindly, the Nanchukmatdon was extra chewy and nutty, and there were plenty of side dishes to choose from, which made it fun to eat! If you are unsure what to order, start with the Nanchukmatdon—you will not regret it! !(•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑ They also provide three hours of free parking, so drive over comfortably!!! Highly recommend a rental car!!!!
