Cheongdam Italian restaurant burrata and shrimp pasta: Osteria Eden
In short
Osteria Eden is an Italian restaurant on Seonneung-ro 152-gil in Gangnam, Seoul, in the Cheongdam and Apgujeong Rodeo area. After shopping at Galleria Department Store, I shared burrata basil cheese, shrimp aglio olio, chamomile apple spice, and classic tiramisu with a friend at a terrace table with the windows thrown wide open. Between the cool breeze and the wall playing footage of Paris, Osteria Eden made a satisfying spot for a light dinner for two.

Whenever the weather turns cool, a nice terrace is always the first thing that comes to mind. Today I want to tell you about a happy evening I spent with a friend, enjoying a meal in a really lovely atmosphere.
This is my review of Osteria Eden, a Cheongdam favorite for brunch dates, and the breezy terrace atmosphere and variety of dishes made with fresh ingredients. The Osteria Eden terrace in Cheongdam: seats where the windows open all the way

After finishing up some shopping at Galleria Department Store with a friend over the weekend, we went looking for a restaurant with a good atmosphere and ended up at Osteria Eden, a Cheongdam favorite for brunch dates. The mornings and evenings have been getting pretty cool lately, so we wanted somewhere that really let us enjoy that outdoor terrace feeling. As it happened, the second-floor windows here were wide open, so we could feel the cool natural breeze while enjoying a leisurely early dinner — couldn't have asked for more. With the outdoor air drifting in and everyone around us chatting comfortably over their meals, the whole place felt lively and warm.

What the room feels like, down to the wall playing footage of Paris
The moment we stepped inside, the interior caught our eye with its harmonious mix of classic and modern touches. The chairs and sofas were incredibly soft and comfortable, so the comfort held up even after sitting for a long while.

One wall in particular played a beautiful video of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine in Paris. It gave us the exotic feeling of actually sitting beside the riverbank in Paris, which was genuinely exciting. Between the high ceilings and the stylish mirrors, it was also a great spot for photos.

How the burrata basil cheese and shrimp aglio olio taste
Since we'd already eaten a big lunch, we decided to keep dinner light and share, and started with the burrata basil cheese and the shrimp aglio olio pasta. The burrata basil cheese had a much thicker, richer block of cheese sitting front and center compared to other restaurants.

Colorful tomatoes and cute little fresh vegetables surrounded it, with a sweet-and-tart sauce pooled at the bottom. Cutting the chewy, soft cheese into bites and dunking it into the fresh vegetables and sauce, my mouth filled up with a rich mix of freshness and savoriness.

Next came the shrimp aglio olio, and the deep, rich seafood aroma hit us the moment it arrived. It was loaded with big, plump shrimp, which made for a really satisfying bite.
Cutting the shrimp into manageable pieces and twirling them together with the noodles, glossy with olive oil sauce, drew an audible gasp out of us. The noodles were cooked just right, still nice and chewy, and the salty seasoning paired perfectly with the deep umami of the seafood and the oily sauce.

Chamomile apple spice and classic tiramisu at Osteria Eden
The chamomile apple spice we chose to drink did a wonderful job of clearing our palate between bites. The subtle fragrance of cool chamomile tea combined with sweet apple made it wonderfully refreshing.

After the meal, we ordered classic tiramisu for dessert, and it delivered deep, authentic sweetness. The portion was huge — plenty for two or three people to share. The rich mascarpone cheese and coffee flavor melted away in our mouths, finishing the meal on a sweet note.
