Nowon hair salon for wedding-party matte brown: Yeum Hair

The café-like interior was the first thing I noticed when we walked in. One wall had large windows, which brought in natural light and kept the space from feeling stuffy during the appointment. It was a modern, pleasant space, and my mother said she liked feeling looked after.

How did we choose the wedding-party color and clinic?

I booked the stylist after reading reviews on Naver Booking. Before the appointment, my mother filled out a consultation form, which we used as the basis for our consultation.

My mother's hair had a strong reddish cast and had faded quite light from frequent coloring. The ends were especially damaged.

It had not been long since her last coloring, so she did not absolutely need another appointment. Still, she wanted a calmer tone for the ceremony, so after the consultation we decided on matte brown to reduce the red tones, along with a three-step moisture clinic.

In what order were the gray roots and overall hair colored?

First, they sprayed on a scalp protectant and colored the roots, where gray hair had created a difference in tone. After allowing time between steps, they applied all-over color to the rest of her hair to match the shade. Watching from beside her, I saw them apply the product carefully to avoid irritating her scalp.

What were the coloring wait and clinic time like?

While the color developed, they put moisturizing hand gloves on my mother. I remember that the thumb sections were open, so she could use her smartphone while wearing them.

They gave my mother warm tea and gave me iced tea. We waited while eating the snacks served with them.

There was a massage chair in the shampoo room. While my mother received the three-step moisture clinic, she also had a full-body massage and said it felt like her fatigue had eased.

How were the color and texture after the matte brown coloring?

After the appointment, the bright reddish cast had settled down into a calm matte brown. The hair that had caught when I ran my fingers through it also felt much softer after the color and clinic.

Even outdoors, the color looked calm without red tones. To me, my mother's complexion also looked brighter, and I thought it would go well with the hanbok she plans to wear on the wedding day.

On this visit, I was happy with how my mother's hair color was brought to the tone she wanted, as well as the service she received while waiting. Next time, I would like to return for a clinic treatment myself.
