The inside of Gaetbeol-ui Jogae Yeouido Main Branch was really spacious and comfortable, and the clean, polished vibe left an impression haha. There are also plenty of room spaces, so I'd definitely recommend it for family gatherings or work dinners 🫶🏻🤍
Giant clam hot pot or Seafood Boiling: which to order
Let's take a look at the menu first ~.~ The signature Giant Clam Hot Pot and the new Seafood Boiling! 🧡 Both looked incredibly generous and delicious, but after some thought I decided on the Seafood Boiling ෆ

What was really great about Gaetbeol-ui Jogae Yeouido Main Branch was how generous the self-bar setup was ..🥺🥺 Barley rice, doenjang paste (thick soybean sauce), green onion kimchi, napa cabbage kimchi, sesame oil, bibimbap sauce — everything's all set up, so it's so nice to make bibimbap while waiting for the main dish hahaha
And the water isn't just plain water — it's Hovenia tea, which has a nutty, delicious taste 🤤
How much food is the small Seafood Boiling for two people?
Ta-da ✨✨ Finally, the Seafood Boiling arrived. We ordered the small size (₩59,000) for two, but this is NOT a portion for two — honestly it's enough to fill up three people ㅠㅠ Super generous 👍🏻
Absolutely insane(ly good) visuals ,,,🤤🤤 The seafood boiling is cooked to order, so if there are a lot of boiling orders ahead of yours, it can take quite a while — I'd recommend making a reservation beforehand ☑️☑️
They clean up all the tricky parts for you — the tender abalone meat, the whole squid, and so on — so all you have to do is eat

What's in the seafood boil and how it tastes
Shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, whole squid, abalone, and more, plus linguine pasta, somyeon noodles (thin wheat noodles), and fried rice all piled up together in such a generous, varied combo — absolutely the best 🧡 The seafood was so fresh and good quality, tender and full of umami, seriously delicious!!!!
After diligently picking apart the thick clam meat and thoroughly enjoying the plump shrimp, chewy squid, and body-nourishing abalone, eating it together with the sauce-mixed pasta and chewy garaetteok (cylindrical rice cake) was another amazing combo ෆ
Mixing the salty, savory sausage with the somyeon noodles and fried rice and the seafood, then taking another big bite ~~ such a sneaky good combo ,, I couldn't stop eating!!🥹

After finishing the meal, at the counter there were sweet candies for a palate cleanser, dental floss, and mouthwash all thoughtfully laid out .. even hair ties ෆ
