Today I'm sharing Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch, a black pork spot near Jeju Airport 🐷

I stopped by with my boyfriend a few days ago while we were traveling around Jeju, and honestly — the meat was great, but the real MVPs were the smoke-free charcoal grill and the 3 hours of free parking support ✨

Where to park at Pork80 in Nohyeong-dong 🚗

Pork80 is about a 10-minute drive from Jeju Airport. Parking isn't right in front of the restaurant — you use a nearby paid lot, at 25 Wonnohyeong 3-gil, Jeju-si. After the meal, the staff handed us a parking ticket at the counter that gave us 3 hours free. Parking in Jeju City can honestly be such a headache ㅠㅠ so just having a wide lot to park in and walk over from made things so much easier.

Charcoal grill, but no smoke in the room 👀

Whenever I go to a BBQ place, the thing I worry about most is smoke — I hate coming out with my hair and clothes smelling like it. But at Pork80, even though it's a charcoal grill, the grill itself is built to suck the smoke down and in 👀 No smoke rising over the table meant I could actually see the person across from me clearly, and the whole meal felt comfortable. This was honestly the biggest plus for me ✨

And without us even asking, the staff brought over hair ties and disposable aprons first thing 🙌🏻 If you have long hair, there's usually nothing to tie it back with while grilling, so having this ready ahead of time was really appreciated 💛

What we ordered at Pork80

Here's what we ordered.

The side dishes came in a good variety too, so it was fun picking at this and that 🥢 Cold noodles are common at BBQ places, but yeolmu guksu (young radish greens noodles) is a lot rarer — rarer even than bibim guksu (spicy mixed noodles) — so that's what I went with.

Nanchuk Matdon black pork: thick cuts you can see 🐷

When the meat came out, the first thing that surprised me was the thickness — cut nice and thick, with a good color that made it look fresh just at a glance.

The staff grilled the first round for us, lining up the meat neatly like soldiers on the grill — it was satisfying just to watch 🙌🏻

Once cooked, they moved the meat to one side of the grill so we could just sit back and eat.

The mel-jorim (braised anchovy sauce) served with the meat tasted different from what I expected — much sweeter and with a gochujang (red chili paste) flavor, unlike the usual meljeot (fermented anchovy sauce). Even people who can't handle the funky smell of regular meljeot might be able to eat this.

Partway through the meal, they brought over seasoned raw crab without us ordering it — when I asked, they said it comes free as a service when you order the Nanchuk Matdon. I can't eat crab, so my boyfriend polished it off solo haha. If you like crab, this little extra will be a nice surprise.

Yeolmu guksu at a BBQ restaurant: not something you see often 🧡

I ate the yeolmu guksu in bites between rounds of meat — the thin noodles were nice and springy, and the broth was ice-cold, which paired perfectly with the meat. It felt like it reset my palate every time it got too greasy. If you want something different from cold noodles next time, remember yeolmu guksu 🧡

Mouthwash in the Pork80 restroom, plus hair ties and aprons

This is a small detail, but the restrooms were separated by gender and kept clean. There was even mouthwash available, so I could rinse my mouth right after eating meat when it started feeling a bit off 👍🏻 Not many places bother with details like that.

It's a convenient spot for a first or last meal on the way to or from Jeju Airport. If you're staying near Dream Tower or Maison Glad, you can easily walk over.
