Giheung Station restaurant, handmade burger, Giheung food spot, Yongin handmade burger place
I was looking for somewhere to eat with my kid near Giheung Station when I found this burger spot! It's a new place in Yongin so I went in with high expectations. I really love handmade burgers, so I visited on a weekday evening after my husband got off work, and the signature truffle burger was so satisfying!! It's also a restaurant near Giheung Station where you can park, so it was easy to drive there too.
Where is WeWe Burger, what are the hours, and is there parking?
WeWe Burger is located at 63 Giheungyeok-ro, 302-dong 111-ho, Giheung-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, and it's open Tuesday–Sunday from 11am to 10pm. Break time runs from 3pm to 5:30pm.
If you park at the Giheung Station transfer parking lot, they give you a free parking voucher. It's only a 3-minute walk from Giheung Station, so it seems like a good burger spot to stop by before heading to Everland haha.
Inside WeWe Burger: what the Giheung Station burger restaurant looks like

I visited on a weekday evening and there seemed to be quite a lot of delivery and takeout customers!! We were planning to eat quickly and go, so we ate in the dining room~ There were a lot of baby chairs set up too, so if you're looking for a place to eat with kids near Giheung Station, I'd recommend it.

The interior has a hip vibe, and the menu isn't intimidating for eating alone near Giheung Station either, so I'd like to come back for a solo meal next time! It's a burger spot that a lot of customers from the nearby shops seem to visit too :)

This Giheung Station burger spot bakes its own buns fresh in-store every day, and there are two types of buns to choose from so you can pick according to your taste! They said they make everything themselves, from the buns to the patties to the sauces, so this is a truly handmade burger!!

The owner at WeWe Burger was really friendly, and the atmosphere was nice too, so it seems like it could be a good date spot. Since we like handmade burgers way more than regular burgers, we were amazed eating and thinking there's a burger place like this near Giheung Station now!
WeWe Burger menu and how to order at the kiosk

You order at WeWe Burger via kiosk, and since we always have leftovers when we get a set, we ordered one set and one single and shared haha. We went with the signature truffle burger set for one and a double truffle burger (single) for the other!! The double truffle burger had two patties, which made it more filling and delicious, apparently haha.
Buns baked in-store: brioche bun or sesame bun?
One of the things I loved about WeWe Burger was the bun choice! When you order a burger, you can choose between a brioche bun or a sesame bun.
I went with the brioche bun this time, and it was soft with a slightly sweet, nutty flavor that paired really well with the truffle burger!! Because of that signature soft, buttery brioche feel, the whole burger felt a bit richer? On the other hand, the sesame bun is more plain and nutty, so if you want the patty's own flavor to stand out more, the sesame bun would be good too.

At the self-serve bar, ketchup and disposables are set out like this, and there's hot sauce too, so it was easy to grab whatever suited your taste.
WeWe Burger's posters and country-of-origin labeling were also impressive! Nicely legible design that was pleasant to look at.

The kitchen looked hygienic and clean, which gave me confidence in the place. The food came out about 5 minutes after ordering! While I was feeding my baby, they brought it right to our table. Looking through the menu, I noticed they sell beer too — sounds nice to have a burger with a beer after work.
How does the WeWe Burger truffle burger taste? 🍄

After some deliberation, I ordered the truffle burger~ The visual alone screamed handmade burger, and even before the first bite, I could faintly smell the truffle!! Taking a big bite, the fragrant, rich flavor of truffle hits first, followed by the meaty flavor of the beef patty!

It's not a burger with barely-there truffle flavor — there's a definite presence that says "yes, truffle went in here" hahaha. But rather than the truffle flavor overpowering everything, the flavor really came alive when eaten together with the patty and bun. In particular, the brioche bun's slightly sweet, nutty flavor softened the heavy truffle aroma nicely, so the combination worked well!

Double truffle burger: two patties, burger only
This is the double truffle burger single that my husband ordered! With two patties, it's heavier and more filling. If you're someone with a bigger appetite, the double burger would be good to try~
Biting into the patty, you could really taste that distinct beefy flavor, which I loved. Sometimes with handmade burgers the patty is too thin or the sauce flavor dominates, which can be disappointing, but here you get both the patty and the truffle flavor together, so the burger overall has a pretty rich taste!

When you eat in, they give you a cute fork and knife, and since the bread isn't tough, it cuts cleanly and you can keep the burger's shape while eating — I didn't get anything on my hands at all!!

Personally, if you like truffle pasta or truffle fries, I think WeWe Burger's truffle burger will suit you too haha. Because of the distinct truffle aroma, it tastes richer and fuller than a regular classic burger, so it was a good pick for when you want something more special than just an ordinary burger!!

If I go again, I want to switch to the sesame bun next time haha. The brioche bun was soft with a slightly sweet flavor that matched the truffle burger well, but I'm curious whether the sesame bun would let the patty and other ingredients' flavors come through more clearly!!

Is WeWe Burger worth it for a burger near Giheung Station?
When you're looking for somewhere to eat near Giheung Station and want a handmade burger instead of the same old options, WeWe Burger was a solid choice! I especially liked being able to choose between a brioche bun and sesame bun, and there was a good range of burger types too — Classic, Cheese, Truffle, and Double — so you can pick according to your taste.

It's close to Giheung Station and also worth recommending as a spot near Giheung AK Plaza! If you're looking for a Giheung Station restaurant / handmade burger near Giheung Station / handmade burger place in Yongin, WeWe Burger is worth considering 🍔
