Today I went to Euljiro with a friend and visited Another Level (AnotherLv), a bar with a great atmosphere! It has a platter you can only eat here and a whole range of highballs, so I really wanted to introduce it to you all!
Where is Another Level, and what are its hours and closing days?
Another Level is on the 4th floor at 11 Euljiro 12-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea, and is open from 7 PM to 12 AM. Last order is at 11 PM, there is no break time, and it is closed every Sunday.

What are the atmosphere and seating like at Another Level?
The place is so big you can't see all of it at a glance, and there were lots of seats! The lighting is a little dark, which gave it a nice mood, and artificial grass-like plants added a slightly hippie feel!
Best of all, the tables are spaced far apart, so you don't have to worry about the people around you overhearing your conversation!
+ There's rooftop seating too, but it was so hot that I just couldn't face going up there.. not very blogger-like of me... The rooftop photos.. hehe, please go experience it yourselves and tell me about it!
Right when you walk in, you'll see a wine fridge and a draft beer machine on the left, and they clearly take great care of that beer machine! It was gleaming... They say machine upkeep decides how the beer tastes, so even without trying it, it looked like it would be cold and delicious!...
On top of the wine fridge there was a phone battery charger! What a handy touch! Make good use of it~

What free snack does Another Level serve?
The free snack at Another Level was a potato snack like Ogamja (a Korean potato snack)! Like Ogamja with the seasoning taken out? It tasted mild, but I kept reaching for more! It comes in a paper cup bigger than the regular ones we know, and I thought, this is exactly what beer snacks should be!
How do the Bombay and grapefruit highballs taste at Another Level?
At Another Level we hesitated for a while and ordered the Bombay highball and the grapefruit highball! The Bombay highball was a pretty pink, just as you can see!
Bombay itself is a bit fresh and crisp, you know... After struggling outside in the hot, humid weather, drinking it cold in a cool bar made the heat vanish in an instant!
The grapefruit highball was truly grapefruit itself! Tangy and sweet! It went down in big gulps too... For grapefruit lovers, nothing more needs to be said, it's the best highball on the menu!
When you can't decide, I recommend it as a no-fail drink you can pick without a second thought!
Soft drinks at Another Level come in PET bottles
I also ordered a Sprite, and what's this! Usually when you order a drink they give you a fat can... but at Another Level the drinks are in PET bottles! + When you order a drink, the staff bring a cup of ice without being asked!
What's in the Another Level Platter, and how does it taste?
For food we ordered the Another Level Platter! It's made up like this!
- 2 kinds of dried fruit (orange, pineapple)
- 2 kinds of cheese
- Cream cheese persimmon roll
- 2 kinds of nuts (walnut, cashew)
- 2 kinds of cured ham
- Melon
The freshness was on another level... I just lament that the photos can't capture it all...T_T
The sweet, cool melon smelled like melon the moment it arrived, which put me in a good mood.. and it tasted as good as it smelled!
Personally I'm not close with cured hams other than jambon, but Another Level's cured ham is amazing... Of the 2 kinds, I especially liked the jamón! My friend ate it happily too, a real treat!

And the cream cheese persimmon roll! I'd only heard it was delicious and had never actually eaten one, but the smoothness of the cream cheese + the nuttiness of the walnut + the sweet chewiness of the dried persimmon, the harmony was no joke!!!
Is Another Level worth visiting?
Just like its name, the service, the platter and the highballs at Another Level in Euljiro were different from other places! I think you should give it a visit too!!!
