There's a place I genuinely go to all the time whenever I want sushi near Yeongtong Station!! Every plate is ₩1,890 so it never feels like a splurge, it's easy to visit solo, and there's such a wide variety of sushi that once you go once you basically become a regular haha. Here's my honest review of my go-to-again-and-again spot, Teukbyeolhan Chobap's Yeongtong branch 🫶🏻

The space is made up of rail seats and table seats. The rail seats have the charm of picking sushi straight off the belt, while the table seats require ordering via tablet but are nice for chatting comfortably while you eat ~😆

Every single plate is ₩1,890 — amazing price, right?!? ✨ If the sushi you want isn't on the belt, you can just order it directly from the chef!

Besides sushi, there are meal options too: Korean beef tartare cold soup, fish cake soup, udon, cold buckwheat noodles, and egg rice.

Pickled radish, ginger, wasabi, soy sauce and broth come as the basic set — just ask if you want danmuji (yellow pickled radish) too!

Here's what I ate,,, 💗 Starting with flounder, salmon, salmon belly, egg, and beef tartare sushi

Salmon tataki, futomaki, freshwater eel, aged kimchi octopus, spicy raw shrimp, sea bream belly sushi — from fresh live-fish sushi to salmon, eel, shrimp and premium options, it's hard to believe there's this much variety for ₩1,890?!? 🥹

All sorts of sushi rolls, shrimp tempura, and even fruit and pudding for dessert — solidly prepared! This place deserves its reputation as a Yeongtong sushi favorite! Hehe 🍣❤️

Is Teukbyeolhan Chobap Yeongtong worth a visit?

At a no-pressure ₩1,890 per plate, you can pick out the sushi you want one piece at a time, and with such a wide variety it's genuinely fun to choose 🍣🧡 It's a great Yeongtong spot whether you're eating alone for a simple meal or visiting with a group so everyone can pick what they like.

Best of all, the price is kind but the quality is good, so it's an easy place to drop into whenever you're craving sushi — for me it's not a one-time visit but a spot I keep coming back to whenever the craving hits! Close to Yeongtong Station and with parking available too, Teukbyeolhan Chobap is worth a visit if you're looking for an affordable conveyor-belt sushi spot or somewhere in Yeongtong to enjoy sushi without breaking the bank 🫶🏻
