I found out about a shop in Yeongdeungpo that's great at men's eyebrow tattoos! Made time on the weekend to check it out — jotting down a quick recommendation review.

Orbit Beauty is a Yeongdeungpo eyebrow-and-eyelash specialty studio located at 3F, 10 Yeongdeungpo-ro 13-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, near Yangnam Children's Park. It's a 7-minute walk from Yangpyeong Station Exit 2, or 15 minutes from Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station Exit 6.

Why he chose Orbit Beauty for his third eyebrow tattoo

My boyfriend had two previous eyebrow tattoo experiences before this. The first was at a men's eyebrow clinic that felt almost factory-line — before he knew it, he'd basically had seaweed slapped on his eyes like a coloring book. The second was a place he found on Instagram — friendly, but oddly hard to communicate with, and he ended up with a shape he didn't actually want. Not a great memory either way.

Getting ready: single-use tools and 15 minutes of numbing cream

Orbit Beauty only uses certified, body-safe pigments, and every tool is single-use — she opened brand-new packages right in front of us and used those.

Before the procedure she quickly tidied up the skin texture around the eyebrow area,

then applied numbing cream. Wrapped and waited about 15 minutes for it to fully take effect.

After that she wiped everything clean and moved into the consultation and design work.

As mentioned above, my boyfriend had had two semi-permanent tattoos before, years apart. She spotted the leftover reddish tattoo traces right away, haha. We wanted a clean, not-too-thick, straight brow rather than something strong with a sharp arch, extending just slightly past the outer eye corner —

but she recommended a slight arch for men's brows since it looks better, so we decided to go with the expert's advice!

During the consultation she got very detailed with the design, and what I loved most was how she tailored it to his face shape. The pigment is close to black but she picked a shade that suits his brow and skin tone more naturally — even at the design stage, our trust in her shot way up!

She kept checking the mirror with us along the way, adjusting the design to add a touch more natural softness where we wanted it.

She explained that since everyone uses their facial muscles differently — looking at someone, looking in a mirror, being photographed, talking — perfect symmetry isn't really possible. Still, the design came out exactly the shape we wanted, so we gave the go-ahead: please proceed!

Building the hair strokes first with the natural-brow technique

She started with the natural technique, drawing along the direction of the existing hair growth. Since oily skin inevitably fades tattoo pigment faster than dry skin, she said combo eyebrows work better than pure natural brows for him — filling wide and light where hair is already dense, and adding detail only in sparse spots. Areas with more hair naturally look more three-dimensional, and the only real fix for that is regular grooming at home.

Whoa... it's art! Looks completely natural whether you're close up or far away! This natural technique looks perfect for people with plenty of hair but the wrong length or shape. His brows are almost bare at the tail end though, so pure natural-brow technique alone left it looking a bit sparse there. Going with her recommendation, we moved straight into combo eyebrows.

Compared to the natural-brow-only version, it's noticeably denser and darker now.

Whenever we pointed out a spot that looked slightly off or thin, she fixed and refined it on the spot immediately — really appreciated that. So kind and gentle throughout.

She said filling the front too heavily can make it look awkward, like a 'jjanggu' bulge, so she balanced the strength more carefully in the middle and tail sections — much more natural as a result!

Not overly thick, not overly dark — of every semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo he's had, this one wins on shape and color, hands down.

She said the color will look a bit more intense over the next week as it settles, but it'll get more natural as the skin flakes off. (Important: don't pick at flaking skin — let it fall away on its own.)

Comparing the straight-on shot with a slightly tilted-up angle, you can see he has a habit of raising his left eyebrow (in the photo) more than the right, so that side's muscle sits higher. She mentioned this tends to get more pronounced with age, and gave us a very detailed suggestion — Botox could help relax it if we ever wanted to address it.

Both of us went "whoa..." at that. Bo...tox... noted. Retouching isn't required — she said if any light spots show up, just come back between one and two months out.

Eyebrow tattoo aftercare, day by day

For aftercare she gave us cotton swabs and recovery cream. Using more cream doesn't mean more pigment retention or a more natural look — just spread a rice-grain amount thinly. Keep it away from water on day one only; gentle washing is fine from day two. More important than the cream is keeping sunscreen and makeup off the brows and not rubbing or scratching them. About a week of this care is all you need.
