Why Almond Eyelashes before the Chuseok holiday?

Lash extensions are one of those must-dos before Chuseok (Korean thanksgiving) holiday!! My extensions from a month ago had almost completely fallen out, so I went looking for a lash specialty shop and ended up visiting Almond Eyelashes in Busanjin.

I usually compare a few shops rather than sticking to one, but this place had great reviews and lots of unique lash styles, so I chose it^^

Almond Eyelashes is located near the jewelry shopping street in Beomil-dong, Busanjin, and specializes in lash extensions and lash lifts^^ I booked ahead through Naver Reservations before visiting. There's no dedicated parking lot, but you can park at a nearby paid lot.

The interior has a café-like feel^^

There's a restroom inside the shop too, so it's convenient to use!

It's a one-person shop run solely by the owner, but the interior is really spacious^^

Consultation and the Almond Eyelashes price list

They give you a consultation first here, and my lashes were quite thin from frequent extensions, especially the right eye which was even weaker ㅜ

She recommended fairy lashes, which are apparently thinner than regular lashes but still hold up well^^ I decided on a JC-curl mix of 9mm/10mm for the extensions!!

Choosing a naturally defined lash design

If lashes are too long or too full, they can make your eyes look kind of overwhelmed, so I prefer a style that's natural but still defined! During the consultation I explained my usual makeup style and the look I wanted, and we designed it to suit my eye shape^^

There's a separate room for lash extensions, and it's cozy and clean as expected^^

Lash removal and application with no stinging

Almond Eyelashes designs extensions to fit your individual eye shape, so they hold up well and keep your lashes healthy and comfortable. The owner's hands were fast and it was so comfortable I nearly fell asleep haha. She removed my remaining lashes without any stinging, which was such a relief^^

I was worried it might hurt or feel uncomfortable, but she carefully removed the leftover extensions one by one and cleaned up any residue around my eyes thoroughly^^

A natural yet full set of lashes complete!! I was glad I went with her recommended design haha. No irritation, my eyes felt comfortable, and no stinging from the glue^^

Before the treatment my lashes were generally weak and had some sparse patches, giving a dull impression, but after the extensions my eyes definitely looked more defined^^ What I liked most was that it looked full without feeling artificial at all!

After the lash extensions were done, she gave me a lash brush as a gift

I got a cute pink one^^ With my eyes open, the lashes look defined enough that I don't need to do eyeliner separately, and even with my eyes closed, each lash looks neatly arranged, which makes photos look so much prettier^^

With lash extensions, the design really changes the overall vibe, and I think it's more important to decide the curl and length based on your eye shape and existing lash condition rather than just going for maximum length!! The owner was especially kind, explaining everything in a calm, detailed way, and her attention to detail was truly the best^^ If you want natural, comfortable lash extensions, I'd recommend Almond Eyelashes^^
