Geumchon self-order BBQ with split charcoal grill: Minine Gogi Nakwon
In short
Minine Gogi Nakwon is an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant on Beonyeong-ro in Paju, Gyeonggi, near Geumchon. The writer ordered the new Set 3 and grilled scallops, beef intestines, and premium short rib on a preheated charcoal grill split into two halves, cooking each cut separately. Ordering and side dishes are all self-serve in a large dining room, so Minine Gogi Nakwon suits team dinners and family meals out.

I can't help but recommend Minine Gogi Nakwon as a must-visit Paju BBQ restaurant! If you're looking for an all-you-can-eat meat place, you absolutely have to come here... let me tell you exactly why in this post.
Minine Gogi Nakwon location, hours and parking
Minine Gogi Nakwon is at 23 Beonyeong-ro, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, open daily from 12:00 to 24:00. Last order is at 22:20. There's an open lot right in front, so parking wasn't a hassle at all. The owner greeted us kindly.
What comes with the new Set 3?
Minine Gogi Nakwon lets you choose between Set 1, 2, or 3 for the all-you-can-eat, and since Set 3 is the new menu this time, I ordered it without a second thought. Set 3 is the maximum spread — everything in Sets 1 and 2, plus scallops, beef intestines, and premium short rib. Today, unlike usual, I'll introduce the set we tried first — though everything is also available à la carte!

As shown in the photos, this is just the Set 3 spread — these aren't dishes I eat often, so being able to enjoy this whole lineup at once was great. Note that the premium short rib has a sharp bone section, so be careful! This place is especially known for its marinade, so we tried both plain and marinated versions to compare.

Grilling the beef intestines and scallops
You know beef intestines need to be cooked thoroughly, both to remove any gaminess and to bring out more of that savory flavor! We grilled them crisp and cut them up for eating, and the cross-section showed they were packed full of fat!! Seriously, cook them well!! They get more savory the more you chew.
I heard scallops taste great wrapped in thin slices of meat, so I cut a scallop in half and tried wrapping it too. The scallop itself has a salty flavor, so it pairs perfectly with the meat. I still can't forget that special chewy texture only scallops have..><

When to put the premium short rib on the grill
Once the premium short rib is cooked properly, the bone pops right out. After that, just cut it into bite-sized pieces! If you overcook it, it gets tough, so I'd recommend eating it right when it's just done.

Eating it on top of onion was so good, ㅠㅠㅠ. My favorite menu item is, of course, the premium short rib...

How self-ordering works at Minine Gogi Nakwon
Minine Gogi Nakwon is a self-serve restaurant, from ordering onward, so keep that in mind. The place is clean and even has a restroom inside!
Instructions, tips for eating well, and even a review event are all written up, so just read through and use accordingly! At this point, you also finish placing your order for which set number you'll eat.

The neatly arranged tableware and the beef aging fridge showed just how much care went into this place.

There's a regular menu separate from the all-you-can-eat, but just get the all-you-can-eat... it's an absolute steal.
The self-serve bar and side dishes
You could tell the self-bar was kept fresh and well-managed. There's a separate side dish self-bar too, so you can pick just what you want and refill it! Extra tableware was on hand as well! The side dishes were easy to load all at once onto the provided tray.

What do Set 1 and Set 2 include?
Minine Gogi Nakwon has separate fridges for each set. Set 1's menu comes to 12 types total!!

Since this is the most basic of the all-you-can-eat sets, I photographed every single item.

There wasn't just one type of pork belly! You could enjoy chicken and pork generously divided by cut. More variety than any other BBQ restaurant I've been to, so it never got boring.
Set 2 adds 5 more items on top of Set 1! Beef enters the picture from this set on, so I think it's perfect for anyone who wants beef and pork in one sitting.

There are notes on how to eat each cut for the best flavor, so I kept glancing back at them the whole time ㅋㅋㅋ

Preheated charcoal and the split grill pan
They filled the grill with plenty of preheated charcoal. They also gave us a special split grill, and explained that the fattier cuts should go on the flat plate side while everything else goes straight on the grill grate.

First round: mixing Set 1 and 2 items together on the grill~~~

The beef was so tender and savory, and the pork belly, maybe because it was aged, had a clean flavor and great texture.

I really love beef bung (makchang) normally, and grilled crispy it was amazing. If you like a chewy, crunchy texture, you have to try it!

Verdict: who should eat at Minine Gogi Nakwon?
After that, premium short rib kept coming with every refill of every set. And of course, my and Chani's top pick remained the premium short rib... it pairs unbelievably well with the marinade!! That sweet-and-salty flavor kept coming endlessly. If you love meat, or you're craving it, definitely check this place out! Also, the restaurant is spacious, so I'd recommend it for group dinners or eating out too.
