Hyehwa western restaurant, 15-minute Sunday wait and cherry ade: Omil

I want to recommend a western restaurant that's perfect for a date in Hyehwa's Daehangno neighborhood. This is Omil Hyehwa Daehangno! 🐤

Where is Omil Hyehwa Daehangno, and what are the hours and Sunday wait?

Omil Hyehwa Daehangno is on the 2nd floor of 35 Daemyeong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, 163m from Exit 4 of Hyehwa Station on Line 4. It's open Mon–Fri 11:30–21:15 (with a break 15:15–16:30), and Sat–Sun 11:30–21:15 with no break, last order at 20:30.

I visited around noon on a Sunday and there were about 5 parties waiting — I think I waited around 15 minutes! I'd recommend making a reservation.

No parking available! It's close to the subway station and bus stops, so public transit is recommended 💭

Head up to the 2nd floor and you'll find Omil right there!

Isn't the exterior just adorable!!

The tables inside were 5 for 4 people and 5 for 2 people haha. It was packed full of people — definitely a hot spot ⭐️

There's even a mirror photo zone at the entrance!

It felt cute and charming, with that unique Omil kind of cuteness.

It's really delicious eaten together with the onion, tomato, broccoli, and corn on the side!! ⭐️

An adorable rubber duck with fluffy swirl omurice and stir-fried salmon rice. Plus a free rubber duck giveaway event

It's so cute I could faint..🐤💛🐥 I was surprised the rubber duck plush is given for free!! Kids would love this event 🫶🏻 (adults love it too 🤣)

Buckwheat soba noodles, vegetables, and a Japanese-style rolled egg wrapped in seaweed with Omil's special sauce

There's a killer detail here too..! The end of the rolled egg shaped like >~< — isn't that just too cute!!

A whole spread bursting with cuteness!! We ordered 3 dishes for 2 people and we were sooo full! Generous portions and really delicious 💛
