Jangsodam Eel and Beef Buffet Cheongna Main Branch is an all-you-can-eat eel buffet in Cheongna, Incheon, where you can eat unlimited eel, beef, pork, and even dak-galbi (spicy stir-fried chicken). Hi everyone, this is Jjinppang! Let me finally start this post I've been putting off forever because I've been drowning in parenting duties, haha. We went for dinner last Sunday, August 30.

Ugh, this restaurant name is so hard to type out, lol. Isn't it way too long? Jangsodam has four branches total, and from what I found, they're all in Incheon. Let me share an honest review of our delicious meal.

Jangsodam set menus and prices, from 21,000 to 39,000 won

Jangsodam Cheongna Main Branch has four sets, A through D, and the self-serve bar is fully unlimited across all of them. We ordered the A Set for 39,000 won, which includes eel plus all 6 types of beef.

• A Set ₩39,000 Eel + 6 kinds of beef (sirloin, hanging tender, flat iron, gomtang beef, brisket, short rib)
• B Set ₩34,000 Eel + short rib + pork (belly, neck, pork skin, pork ribs)
• C Set ₩32,000 Beef + pork + beef tartare (sirloin, hanging tender, flat iron, rib meat, brisket, short rib)
• D Set ₩21,000 Pork + dak-galbi (belly, neck, pork skin, pork ribs, spicy chicken)

How to grill the eel and beef for the best flavour

The complimentary Yeonpyeong blue crab service

Jangsodam Cheongna Main Branch gives out complimentary Yeonpyeong crab depending on which set you order. Order the A Set and you get 1 Yeonpyeong soy sauce crab + 1 Yeonpyeong spicy marinated crab; order the B Set and you get 1 Yeonpyeong spicy marinated crab; order the C Set and you get 1 Yeonpyeong spicy marinated crab.

Is the play room at Jangsodam good for eating out with kids?

Jangsodam Cheongna Main Branch has a play room, and we sat at a table right in front of it. I haven't been to many restaurants with play rooms, but sitting where the play room was visible made our kid eat way more enthusiastically because she wanted to go play (the downside being she only ate the rice, haha).

As parents, since our kid is still little, having her right in view meant we could eat comfortably too. It was reassuring and nice that she played well with other kids she didn't know, older and younger. The play room was visible through the window, and she wanted to go play even before dinner started.

What is at Jangsodam's three self-serve bar corners?

The self-serve bar at Jangsodam Cheongna Main Branch was split into 3 corners: buffet food corner, vegetable corner, and meat corner. There was even Hangang ramen, and drinks and ice cream were unlimited too!!

Ordering the 39,000 won A Set and what the base setting includes

You order through the kiosk on the table. We ordered the A Set and chose the option that lets you eat everything — eel, beef, pork, dak-galbi, all of it. When you place your first order, they give you one of everything as a base, and any additional orders after that also go through the kiosk.

With the A Set order, the base setting came with 1kg of eel, 100g of beef tartare, beef brisket, and sirloin. It comes with side dishes to eat alongside, like shredded ginger, green onion kimchi, chive kimchi, and white kimchi.

Refills, extra orders and the 5,000 won food waste fee

We only ordered extra spicy marinated crab and sweet and sour pork, and these are all free with the A Set too~ But it says they charge a food waste fee if you leave food uneaten!! They ask that you only request additional orders if you're sure you'll finish it all. You order these through the kiosk as well.

Because it's a buffet, leftover food gets a ₩5,000 food waste fee!

Is Jangsodam Cheongna worth it for a family meal?
