Lately I’ve been craving international food, so I looked around and found out there was a delicious taco specialty restaurant in Cheongna. The place my husband and I visited was Taco Dot Cheongna Branch, and I loved the clean interior from the start.

Partitioned seats and a spacious interior

The atmosphere was nice, and the chairs had partitions, so we could enjoy our food with a bit of privacy!!!😆 I really liked how roomy and open the space felt. Best of all, the staff were kind. They also have high chairs, of course, as well as parking, which was great.🚗

Shrimp quesadilla topped with guacamole

The quesadilla had plenty of cheese and ingredients melted into a nicely toasted tortilla, so it had such deep flavor. It was savory and delicious on its own, but piling on the guacamole we ordered made it even better.🤤 The guacamole was fresh, with avocado’s distinctive creamy texture still intact, so it was also really good spooned onto the quesadilla or, later, the tacos. I definitely recommend adding it as a side.🌮 I personally love guacamole so much, so this time too, I was the one insisting that my husband and I order it.👍🩷

My husband said the Nashville hot chicken taco was the most delicious, so much so that he said he wanted tacos again next time. When we were dating, he didn’t really eat tacos, but now he says he likes them.🤣🌮

Nashville hot chicken tacos you keep reaching for

Just as its name suggests, the Nashville hot chicken taco had a bold spicy kick.🌮 The chicken was crispy outside and moist inside, with spicy seasoning and a special sauce, making it absolutely perfect for my spice-loving palate. It cut right through any richness, so it had that addictive quality that kept me reaching for more.😚

Non-alcoholic mojitos and a receipt event

The non-alcoholic mojito we had with the meal was also an excellent choice. The bright freshness of mint and lime came through strongly, and it felt like it neatly refreshed the palate after the spicy Nashville hot chicken tacos and cheese-filled quesadillas.😉 It was a drink that people who need to drive or can’t drink alcohol can enjoy while still getting into the mood. Haha, this non-alcoholic mojito was perfect even for a lightweight like me!!! 🥰🥰

There’s a Naver receipt event where you can get a glass of lemonade!!!🍋 Since my husband and I had mojitos, we passed on the lemonade. I’ll have to try it next time. Haha. And there are lollipops for dessert, too, so you can freshen up your palate.🍬🍭

Final thoughts

Overall, the food was high quality, and the restaurant’s cleanliness and service were polished too, so we had such a pleasant meal. If you want to enjoy proper Mexican food in Cheongna, or have a tasty taco and a mojito in an international-feeling setting, I highly recommend Taco Dot Cheongna Branch!!!✨️🌮
