A quiet brunch café in residential Sodap-dong, Changwon
What Teuwaetmoa looks like from the street

The café sits in a residential area, so instead of feeling crowded, it has a calm, relaxed vibe. If you're driving, you can use the space in front of the store or the public parking lot, which took some of the worry out of parking!

I especially love French toast, so I was hunting for the best French toast spot in Changwon and ended up here — and personally, it was the most satisfying one I've tried yet‼️
Inside Teuwaetmoa: European vintage interior

The inside was prettier than I expected.

The whole interior has a European vintage feel, and it gave off a warm atmosphere like walking into a small old European brunch shop haha.

The natural light coming through the floor-to-ceiling windows blends especially well with the green plants scattered around, so the mood is even prettier if you visit during the day.

It's also a great spot for photos, so it's nice to visit with a friend or spend a relaxed time on a date.

The brunch menu includes French toast, fig Oji toast, and corn bacon toast, among others. I came craving figs but suddenly ended up wanting the classic one instead — haha, oops.

Ordering the classic French toast and banana pudding

We ordered the classic French toast, banana pudding, an Americano, and a vanilla latte!

The Americano is a daily coffee menu made with beans they select and roast themselves. A smooth Americano paired really well with the French toast.

The vanilla latte is Teuwaetmoa's signature menu, made with house-made vanilla milk packed with vanilla bean. If you like sweet drinks alongside French toast or dessert, the vanilla latte would suit you well haha.

They also bring out a slip of paper with the ordered items checked off, and that little detail felt very on-brand and cute for Teuwaetmoa haha.

Banana pudding (9,000 won): sweet but not too sweet
Banana pudding, ₩9,000. The menu description called it 'the legendary banana pudding and crumble is back,' so I got curious and ordered it too. It was really good. What I loved most was that it wasn't overly sweet!

Banana pudding can turn out way too sweet overall because of the cream and banana if done wrong, but Teuwaetmoa's version was creamy without the sweetness being overwhelming.

You could gently taste the banana's natural sweetness, and the pudding and cream were so soft and moist that the texture felt wonderfully smooth from the very first spoonful.
The crunchy texture of the crumble popping up here and there was a nice highlight! Having the crumble crunch between the soft cream and banana kept the texture from feeling monotonous.

As time passed, the crumble touched the cream a little and turned moist in a different way from its initial crunch — and honestly, I liked that too.

Classic French toast (12,000 won) with vanilla cream
Classic French toast, ₩12,000. Teuwaetmoa's signature dish! The warm, moist texture of the French toast paired with cold, smooth cream gave a great contrast in both temperature and texture.

Fluffy French toast + crisp sugar coating + vanilla cream + maple syrup. Honestly, it's hard for that combination to taste bad!!
They said it's a special French toast that received awards from Australia's Michelin-linked FOOD AWARDS and GOOD FOOD!! Personally, it was the best French toast I've had in Changwon.

The French toast itself was really fluffy and soft. It felt like the egg mixture had properly soaked all the way into the bread, so it melted moist and soft in my mouth — the best.

Add maple syrup on top and the sweet flavor is next level!

At first I thought what was on top was ice cream, but it turned out to be vanilla cream. Personally, this vanilla cream is the real kick! Adding a bit of it while eating brought a softer, sweeter flavor.

And the outside of the toast has a sugar coating, so it had a slightly crisp, sweet texture that I really liked!
