Yu Yu Yu is a large bakery café at 450 Inje-ro, 1st & 2nd floor, Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. It's open weekdays 08:30–22:00 and weekends 10:00–22:00, last order 21:30, and parking is available.

I finally made it to Yu Yu Yu, a big dog-friendly bakery café in Gimhae that I'd been curious about every time I passed by :)

Where Yu Yu Yu is in Gimhae, and parking
Yu Yu Yu sits near Inje University, Gaya CC, Gaya Land, and Gaya Theme Park, so it's easy to get to. There's a private parking lot too, so I could park and just walk in. They're also doing an expansion — now I'm curious what that new space will look like.

There's a photo zone right at the entrance. I love mint color, and the mint scooter there is so cute.

There were cute fish toys, a fishing rod, and a net for kids to play in the water.

Dogs on the 1st floor only, manner belt required
Yu Yu Yu is a dog-friendly café. Dogs are only allowed on the 1st floor, and a manner belt or carrier bag is required when using the indoor space, so keep that in mind :)
What Yu Yu Yu looks like inside
The interior overall had a warm feel, and the greenery visible through the big glass windows was really calming.
Being a dog-friendly café, there were even dog cushions set out.
There were also baby chairs for guests visiting with little ones.
The restroom is inside too, so it's easy to use.
There was a dog that seemed to belong to the owner — so calm. The way it sits so quietly is adorable.
The little decor pieces scattered around were totally my taste — and it seems the owner really loves Maenggu (a classic Korean cartoon character), because there were tons of Maenggu figurines.
I'd never seen that many Maenggu figures in one place.
There were also some full-on Christmas-themed pieces haha.
Drink menu at Yu Yu Yu and the decaf option

There's coffee, juice, ade, tea, smoothies, bingsu (shaved ice dessert), and more, so you can pick whatever suits you. You can switch to decaf for anything except cold brew, so it's easy to enjoy even if caffeine is a concern. Zero Pay and Kakao Pay are both accepted, so pay however's convenient.
How wide is the bakery selection?
True to Gimhae's bakery-café reputation, there was a really wide variety of breads. A lot of bakery cafés leave the bread displayed uncovered, but Yu Yu Yu keeps everything under closed lids, which I liked for hygiene.

They also had financiers, which I love.

There was also a salad hot dog — looked so good it couldn't possibly taste bad.

The chocolate cookie's name is so cute. "Chiki Chiki Chaka Chaka Choco-Chok! Cookie" — the owner's naming sense is amazing haha.

The plump salt bread looked super delicious too.
I picked one of each favorite haha.

There's also basque cheesecake, chocolate salt bread, and Dubai salt bread. Seeing all that chocolate coating made me swallow hard.

Scones and a ham omelet sandwich too.
This one is seriously cute!!! The sign says the chicken is sleeping so please take the egg tart carefully — ahh, too cute ㅠㅠㅠㅠ.

2nd-floor window seats and the self-serve bar
With our dessert and drinks in hand, we headed up to the 2nd floor.

There's water, napkins, forks, knives, and blankets set out in the middle of the space — feel free to grab what you need.
There were also several types of baby chairs available.
The 2nd floor has plenty of seats, and wherever you sit you get a lush green view. It's so easy on the eyes. We took a window seat with a view of the green trees.

Three breads for two: plain financier, plain scone, croissant
We ordered an iced americano, Yu Yu Yu's signature U Cream Latte, a plain financier, a plain scone, and a croissant.

Two people, three breads
We like plain-flavored desserts, so we went all plain haha.

Look how big the croissant is. The nutty smell from the scone and financier kept drifting up — sniff sniff.
The financier was properly moist. There was a hint of sweetness, which made it perfect with the americano.
Don't even need to say it about the scone — I'm the person who loves that crumbly scone texture. The buttery flavor was no joke.

Can you see those croissant layers? Crispy outside, soft inside, plain and simple in the best way — a flavor that wouldn't split opinions. Definitely found a real Gimhae bakery gem.
How the iced americano and U Cream Latte taste
For drinks we got the iced americano and the U Cream Latte. The cups have the UUU logo printed on them, which makes them look even prettier haha.
Personally I prefer a nutty americano without acidity, and Yu Yu Yu's americano was exactly that — no sourness, nutty, and great with dessert.
The U Cream Latte is meant to be drunk without a straw, sipping the cream and coffee together in one go. The cream has a slight caramel taste, so it's pretty sweet. Perfect for a sugar boost.
If you're looking for a large café in Gimhae that's dog-friendly, go check out Yu Yu Yu, a genuine bakery favorite :)
