Changwon café for vanilla latte and French toast: Teuwaetmoa

Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch, a café in Seosang-dong, Changwon, where you can enjoy both a lovely atmosphere and delicious French toast. The day I went back to Teuwaetmoa for the first time in a year, I discovered a seriously delicious vanilla latte! Let me hurry up and tell you that this is a vanilla latte gem :)

My favorite little corner at Teuwaetmoa, a Changwon café. They even cleverly hide the outlet with green plants, and the linen curtain beside it sways so softly in the breeze—it looked so pretty and made me feel so peaceful that I captured it on video! Healing time 🍃

There are tables for two or three as well as bar seating. There were more solo visitors than I expected that day, and Teuwaetmoa is such a lovely Changwon café with a European feel—even when you come alone 🖤

Teuwaetmoa, a Changwon brunch café, is famous for its aged French toast. It first became known in Busan, and people in the know still keep coming to the Changwon location, so French toast lovers simply have to visit!!

Ordering Classic French Toast and vanilla latte

The owner, coolly making Classic French Toast in sunglasses! We each ordered one Classic French Toast. I was going to get an Americano to have with it, but I tried a vanilla latte at a café for the first time in ages instead!! Ta-da!!! It was amazingly delicious, so iced vanilla latte lovers must order it.

European vibes everywhere ✨ I love this kind of atmosphere so much, and as I happily took photos, Doongi Papa said it reminded him of when we were dating—such soft, fuzzy old memories, haha.

They looked like plums the owner had grown, and it seemed like that was what they were talking about with a customer—but maybe not... haha. Maybe I heard wrong—but whatever they were, they looked incredibly fresh!

This spot, too, was just overflowing with atmosphere, so I had to save it :)

Since we each ordered a Classic French Toast, they told us it would take around 15 minutes. But somehow those 15 minutes felt sooo long that day... hahaha. They were carefully grilling them away.

And after waiting, there it was! Teuwaetmoa’s delicious Classic French Toast, practically the signature of this Changwon brunch café, along with coffee 🖤

This is how a caffeine transfusion should always be: deliciously, on an empty stomach. I just love it that way—hoho.

The rich flavor of house-cooked vanilla milk

The vanilla latte I ordered. Teuwaetmoa’s vanilla latte is served with vanilla milk cooked in-house, making it their own latte packed with vanilla bean and giving it a thick, rich flavor! Like a fancy Megaton Bar, maybe? Anyway, it had exactly the texture and flavor I adore. I asked for less ice, but next time I should ask them to put in only three ice cubes!! Hahaha.

And then there was Doongi Papa’s Daily Coffee, with its easygoing, smooth character that is comforting no matter when you drink it. It is an Americano brewed with beans the owner personally selects and roasts. 🖤 Doongi Papa, who prefers it a little lighter, got extra iced water and diluted it a bit; he said it was just right.

Something delicious—I’m not going to let it get away.

12-hour aged Classic French Toast

By the way, the Classic French Toast that day seemed a little overcooked, so it looked a bit darker! Haha.

The Classic French Toast at Teuwaetmoa, a café in Seosang-dong, Changwon, is a special French toast said to have received Australia’s FOOD AWARDS and GOOD FOOD honors, and it has been on the menu since 2017 in Australia! It has a crispy outside and soft inside, with a crème brûlée-like feel, and is aged through a 12-hour resting time!!

It is already-famous French toast at the Jeonpo café in Busan too, so it is the brunch item I always order whenever I come to Teuwaetmoa.

Putting vanilla bean cream on top of the toast, letting it melt slightly on its own, mixing it with the syrup, and dipping the French toast into it is also so delicious!
