I finally visited 12.24 Seomyeon Branch, a Jeonpo-dong bar that's been popular for a while now !!!!

True to a popular Jeonpo-dong bar, there's even a waiting area right out front

You can check the menu board before even going inside, which is nice > <

A place that feels like Christmas all year round
There's a bar table, great for a date, and 4-seat tables too, great for visiting with friends !
The inside felt like Christmas, and it turns out you can enjoy that Christmas mood all year here !
I wondered why it always felt like Christmas here, and it's because 12.24 refers to December 24th, Christmas Eve — the day you want to spend with someone you love, the day you want to make happy memories, the day you count down to, the day you want to buy someone a gift, the day you want your heart to flutter, the day it's snowing and cold outside but warm in your heart. They said they wanted to create that Christmas Eve feeling.

There's also group seating

How to order and minimum order amount
You order right at the table, and the menu comes with pictures too. The minimum order is ₩15,000 or more, and while bringing outside food is sad, they turn a blind eye for birthday cakes since it's a special day ^.^ hahahahahaha
Search 12.24 on Naver, save it, check 'my places,' and click get notifications ! Write a review and get free karaage (fried chicken) service ><

Corn salad, cabbage, and sweet potato chips? come as basic side dishes — sweet potato chips? already a pass haha... refilled them like crazy .. ^.^

Our order arrived !

I can't handle alcohol well so I went with a highball ^.^
Blueberry camembert cheese fritters ₩13,000
Blueberry camembert cheese fritters ₩13,000

Camembert cheese coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried at 170 degrees, eaten with blueberry sauce — a crispy-outside, gooey-inside dish

I'd seen this a lot as a bar snack but never tried it before !!!! We're both cheese lovers so we figured it'd be good, and dipped it in the blueberry sauce — it tasted like mozzarella + cream cheese, really chewy and savory

The cheese was so soft and generous it was delicious ! Tastes exactly like that 'ex-boyfriend toast' flavor
Yuzu highball ₩8,000
Yuzu highball ₩8,000

If there's a yuzu highball on the menu, I don't even think twice about ordering anything else. Yuzu highball has never once let me down anywhere. Though for reference, I don't actually drink yuzu tea haha it's a completely different vibe !
Crab odeng-tang ₩21,000, spice level selectable
Crab odeng-tang ₩21,000

The crab odeng-tang (fish cake stew) came out looking incredibly hearty. You can choose regular or extra spicy, and we went with regular.
It was so packed full that we could barely even stir it with the ladle ㅜ

There was a nice variety of plump fish cakes, a big crab as expected of a crab odeng-tang, and plenty of vegetables like wood ear mushrooms and mung bean sprouts. Choosing regular spice level gave it just the right kick, and since it was a bit salty for us, they added water and boiled it down, which balanced the seasoning perfectly !

As we kept eating, we found a cute fish-shaped fish cake too. A satisfying meal at 12.24 Seomyeon Branch, a Jeonpo-dong bar. Sashimi seems to be their main specialty, but I don't eat raw food so ..^^ Still, the spicy crab odeng-tang paired with the blueberry camembert cheese fritters was such a great combo !
