This Dongnae date spot doesn't have its own parking lot, so I'd recommend using the public parking lot near Dongnae Station!

It's pretty close to Dongnae Station, so if you're planning to drink, taking public transport is the easiest way 〰️

Lounge Mokhwa Dongnae Branch, famous as a Dongnae hotspot..🥹 A place I've been satisfied with every time I visited 🫶

It's such a genuinely popular spot that on weekends there's no seat left without waiting 〰️

What's the interior atmosphere like?

The inside really feels like you've stepped into a bar in Hong Kong, doesn't it???🇭🇰

The lighting is low so it's easy on the eyes, and the mood is cozy yet hip at the same time — loved it. My friend who came with me was super satisfied too >_<🤍

Great vibe, genuinely hip aesthetic!!!! And on top of that, the food is actually delicious.. 〰️ Best bar 〰️

The tables weren't packed too close together, so it's good for friends but also great for sitting face to face with someone for a conversation — I think it'd make a good Dongnae date spot too.

Especially the spot by the red lanterns comes out so atmospheric in photos — if you're into that Hong Kong aesthetic, you'll love it!!!

On no-drinking days: non-alcoholic Chingdao

I wanted to enjoy the bar vibe but didn't feel like drinking much that day, so I ordered a non-alcoholic Chingdao haha.. (gotta take care of my health)

Clean and refreshing, so it goes great with the food. Perfect for when you don't want alcohol but still want that beer feeling.

Mala cream noodles — good for mala beginners too

The mala cream noodles I was most looking forward to! The thick, smooth cream sauce combined with that signature numbing, spicy mala flavor is so appealing 〰️ meow

The noodles were soaked deep in the sauce, and it came loaded with toppings like bok choy, wood ear mushroom, and mussels ㅠㅠ — my friend and I shared it happily. Ah, so happy.

Because of the cream, the mala scent doesn't hit too hard but gets softened and balanced instead — great for mala lovers, but honestly also so~o good as an entry point into mala for beginners.

The portion is on the generous side, but it's so delicious I'd definitely recommend adding extra noodles ㅠㅜ This place is seriously a great kitchen…. Chef, you're truly the best 😍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

We also ordered shrimp cha giò as a side!!!! Great visual too🤍🤍🤍 Crispy on the outside with plump shrimp inside — I loved it so much.
