Gijang outlet restaurant for sweet potato fries: Bueokgan

Last weekend, I went shopping for the first time in ages to get some fresh air. Off to Shinsegae Busan Premium Outlets 💨 There are so many good places to eat there, but after debating, we decided on Italian food!

I’d heard that Bueokgan Restaurant is known as a great Italian restaurant inside Shinsegae Outlets 💛

A great Italian restaurant in Gijang

The outlet itself is huge, but Bueokgan Restaurant was easy to find. It’s on NORTH 1F beside the wine shop, and I got there in no time by looking for store 180!

A roomy waiting area and seating

Looking in from outside, it felt so dark that I briefly wondered whether the place was closed, which startled me a bit. But when I opened the door, a whole new atmosphere unfolded! First of all, there was a large waiting area by the entrance, so you can sit while you wait~!~!~!

Inside, it was spacious, bright, and Nordic in style! It’s a large restaurant of roughly 70 pyeong, so it felt like an easy place to visit with family, friends, or your partner 👩🏻❤️👨🏿

There was group seating too, making it a nice stop when the whole family is out together, along with some atmospheric tables. They also had plenty of high chairs!

Choosing from pasta to salad

While looking over Bueokgan Restaurant’s menu, everything looked delicious.... 🤭 There were broadly pasta, steak, risotto, pizza, and salad options.

After much deliberation, this is what we ordered! 👩🏻’s favorite oil pasta, 👨🏾🦱’s pick of lasagna, and sweet potato fries.

👨🏾🦱, who absolutely loves French fries, chose these—but I thought they were way tastier than regular fries?!

They were so good even without ketchup, with the sweet potato’s own sweetness and a wonderfully crisp fry! I think I’d definitely order these again on my next visit 🥰

Shrimp anchovy oil pasta

Personally, I prefer oil pasta to tomato pasta, and I loved this one for its clean yet deep flavor.

The noodles had a lovely chewy bite, and there were five big shrimp! They were plump, with such a great texture 👍🏻

Confirmed: a great pasta spot in Gijang

Lasagna loaded with cheese and meat

Pizza felt like it might be too much, so we tried the lasagna instead!!! Such a great choice—I kept exclaiming with every bite. A flavor kids would really love too 🥰

It was loaded with cheese, and the filling was truly packed with meat too. Above all, the sauce was so delicious that I couldn’t stop raving about it.
