A large café in Gimhae with a lush green healing view and delicious bakery items — Yu Yu Yu is the perfect Gimhae café for a date. Words and photos © Joy.
It's Joy, hitting two good restaurants a day! I went on a date to Yu Yu Yu, the view café in Gimhae. It's great to bring a baby or a dog — let me introduce this large café with such a lovely night atmosphere.
Yu Yu Yu opening hours and parking in Gimhae
Yu Yu Yu is open Thursday–Friday 08:30–22:00 and Saturday–Sunday 10:00–22:00, with last order at 21:30. It's closed every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and there's a private parking lot.
Yu Yu Yu looked even prettier at night with the lighting. Being a large café, the parking lot is spacious and there are buildings on both sides. The building on the left had its expanded space opening on September 17 (I visited September 12... should have come a bit later, haha).
Why this large Gimhae café looks better at night
What is this atmosphere at Yu Yu Yu... so pretty!💛 There aren't many pretty cafés in Gimhae open into the night, so I picked this one for its late-night vibe, and I fell for it even more once I got here.
Maybe thanks to the lighting, the interior felt upscale, soft, and calm — it matched the weather perfectly. 🍃
Bringing a dog to Yu Yu Yu: first floor only, and the rules
At Yu Yu Yu, dogs are only allowed on the first floor. To enter indoors, a diaper or a carrier bag is required.
A wide variety of bakery items are prepared too. After 7 pm, bread gets 10% off (if you sign up for the alert).
There was also a notice about large-party seating: please kindly understand and accommodate guests with bigger groups.
Second-floor seating and the self-serve bar
Going up to the second floor at UUU, there were even wider seats, and I understood why it's famous as a view café. It being night, the greenery wasn't as vivid as in daytime, but I still fell for the lighting and atmosphere.
Forks, knives, drinking water, sugar, tissues, paper cups — everything you need is prepared, nothing missing! *Note: not a bussing station.
Two baby chairs are also provided.
There's even a dedicated dog chair and dog cushion, haha! So cute! Overall it felt very well managed.

And there's outdoor seating too — a great atmosphere for a drink outside even without a dog. The weather was so nice, with a cool breeze perfect for enjoying a relaxed cup of tea, so we took a seat outdoors!

There was also fire chicken salad hot dog and coconut kaya croissant left.
Paper and plastic bags are free for packaging, and if you spend over ₩30,000 they'll wrap it in a pretty box for free too^^

How the house-made passion fruit tea and ginger tea tasted
Yu Yu Yu, the Gimhae café... the outdoor vibe was insane....... A cup of house-made tea in the gentle early-autumn breeze — sitting there with my boyfriend, I thought, this must be happiness!
My boyfriend had ginger tea, I had passion fruit tea ✔️ I really love passion fruit, and enjoying it warm as a tea was refreshing and lovely.
Pure milk cream salt bread and egg tart at Yu Yu Yu
The pure milk cream salt bread, dusted generously with white powdered sugar, came pre-sliced.
The cream inside was sweet, and the sweetness of the cream paired nicely with the saltiness of the bread💛😛 The cream wasn't overdone, and the flavor was clean without being heavy.
My all-time favorite, the egg tart 🥚 crispy outside and moist inside — that's its charm. The filling inside had no fishy taste, and was clean, soft, and sweet — a solid dessert, great for a sugar boost~
I packed up the leftover bread to take home^^ The next morning I warmed it in the Balmuda and had it with coffee, and honestly it tasted even better than at Yu Yu Yu itself, haha. Next time I'll pack more to go. I'll have to visit Yu Yu Yu in Gimhae during the day next time ^^ Thanks for the delicious tea~~
