Gimhae café near Gaya CC: scallion cheese cream bread, wide parking

In short

Yu Yu Yu is a large two-floor bakery café on Inje-ro in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, near Gaya Country Club and Gaya Theme Park. The writer sat at a second-floor floor-to-ceiling window with a mountain view and ate the scallion cheese cream bread and a sandwich, and every loaf in the showcase was kept under its own lid, so choosing felt safe. With dogs allowed on the first floor and a wide dedicated parking lot, Yu Yu Yu is an easy stop on a drive around Gimhae.

Yu Yu Yu, the dog-friendly Gimhae café, is a great spot for a day when you want to step away from the crowded city and unwind with a lush green view — perfect for a date with your partner or a family outing! That whole green-on-green feeling was so healing, I loved it.

Is parking at Yu Yu Yu easy?

Yu Yu Yu has a wide dedicated parking lot, so even nervous drivers don't need to worry. The clean exterior also puts your mind at ease right away. Heading up toward Gaya CC, near the back alley of Chakhan Jjukkumi, you'll spot a tidy beige two-story building.

Yu Yu Yu's spacious dedicated parking lot

Parking is usually the biggest worry when looking for a large suburban café, but the store's own parking lot is roomy enough that even a beginner driver could park comfortably without stress. There's also an expansion under construction on the side, so it'll be even more pleasant to use later on.

Mountain-view glass walls and seating at Yu Yu Yu

Step inside Yu Yu Yu and a wide-open floor-to-ceiling window frames a refreshing green mountain view. Sitting by the second-floor window and taking in the scenery, I felt healed the whole time I was there.

The tables are spaced generously apart with plenty of seating for larger groups, and since the first floor is dog-friendly, guests with their dogs can relax comfortably too. There were also plenty of high chairs on hand, which showed real thoughtfulness for families with kids.

How do the scallion cheese cream bread and sandwich taste?

Among the many bakery items in Yu Yu Yu's showcase, I picked out the bread topped with scallion and cheese cream, plus a sandwich. From the very first bite, I was surprised by how generous they were with the ingredients — nothing skimped on.

Whenever I go buy bread or visit a dog-friendly café in Gimhae, I've often felt a little uneasy when the showcase doesn't have lids on the bread.

Bread stored under closed lids at Yu Yu Yu

But Gimhae café Yu Yu Yu keeps every single loaf carefully stored with the lid closed. That definitely made it feel trustworthy to eat!

The fragrant scallion and the rich, heavy cheese cream came together beautifully with the crisp-outside, soft-inside bread, and the sandwich was just as satisfying, packed with fresh fillings hearty enough for a full meal.

It's also a great backdrop for photos against the green scenery, and with generous, delicious baked goods to enjoy while relaxing, it's a place I'd love to stop by again whenever I'm heading toward Gimhae.

Seasonal menu: summer patbingsu and winter strawberries

In summer they serve patbingsu (shaved ice) loaded with red beans they boil themselves, and in winter there's a menu featuring fresh strawberries sourced straight from a farm — apparently they always prepare seasonal menus with care, which makes me want to come back every time the season changes.
