Holstaco Yulha is a Mexican taco restaurant on the 1st floor at 82 Gwandong-ro, Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. You know those days when you suddenly, desperately crave tacos?! Haha, this was exactly that kind of day, so I headed to Holstaco Yulha with a friend 🌮💛

I was looking for somewhere to eat tacos in Yulha and ended up here — the place has that Mexican vibe from the outside all the way to the interior, so it was fun just looking around as soon as we walked in! Sharing this for anyone searching for good tacos in Yulha.

Inside Holstaco Yulha: interior and seating

Isn't the inside of Holstaco Yulha just so cute and detailed?! 😆 From the colorful tablecloths to the Mexico-inspired posters and cactus decor, there was a lot to look at everywhere. The lighting felt warm too, so it seemed like a good spot for a casual meal with a friend or even a date!

What comes in the 30,500 won taco set for two

Ordering was easy at the kiosk, and after going back and forth we decided on the taco set for two!

What I ordered 😗 Taco set for two, ₩30,500 / birria (2 pieces) + carnitas + mex taco + camarón + nachos & salsa + 2 sodas. It's a great way to try a range of Holstaco's tacos, so if it's your first visit, ordering the set menu is a good idea!

The food came out filling the whole table, and it was way more generous than I expected!! 🌮🌮 It wasn't just tacos — nachos and drinks came along too, so even split between two of us, we were both totally stuffed by the end haha.

A nice touch: they had disposable plastic gloves ready on the table! Tacos really do taste best eaten by hand, right? 🤭 We put the gloves on and ate without worrying about dripping sauce, haha.

Birria vs carnitas vs mex taco vs camarón: how they taste

What I liked most about Holstaco Yulha's tacos was that the fillings weren't skimpy at all. There was a good amount of meat, so each bite had real meaty flavor, and there was plenty of sauce too, giving everything a juicy, rich taste overall.

The birria in particular comes as 2 pieces, and dipping the meat-packed taco into the sauce made it even richer and juicier 🤎 If you like meat, this one will satisfy you!

The carnitas and mex taco each had their own distinct appeal, so switching between them was fun! Another plus of trying one of each type instead of multiples of a single taco: it's much harder to get sick of it.

And then the camarón taco🦐 — the shrimp inside wasn't tiny, but big, fried shrimp, which I loved!! After all the meat tacos, biting into the shrimp-filled camarón felt refreshingly different, and there was plenty of sauce so the flavor wasn't bland at all. Personally, I liked that the set balanced meat and shrimp options.

Is the taco set for two enough food for two people?

We each held one taco and shared, and before we knew it, we'd cleaned the whole plate haha. At first I thought "isn't this a bit small for two people?" but as we ate... turns out, we ended up way fuller than expected 😂 If you want to try a variety of tacos in one sitting, the taco set for two is a good order!

I went in on a sudden taco craving, and ended up trying several kinds of tacos in a cute, cozy setting at Holstaco Yulha.
