Dog-friendly large café in Gimhae for salt bread and U-Cream Latte: Yu
In short
Yu Yu Yu is a large mountain-view bakery café on Inje-ro in Gimhae. On this visit the writer ordered pure milk cream salt bread and chive cream cheese salt bread (₩6,000 each), the signature U-Cream Latte (₩6,500) and the Ttalbabo Juice (₩6,000), toured the 1st and 2nd floors plus the outdoor garden, and found the 1st floor dog-friendly. A solid Gimhae coffee spot for freshly baked bread and strong beans, with dogs and a garden thrown in.

+ extra amount paid out of my own pocket
A large Gimhae café where both the salt bread and the coffee are delicious — 'Yu Yu Yu'
A mountain-view café up the stone steps
A mountain-view café where you could really feel autumn coming. The sky was unusually blue, the clouds white, and the green trees looked like a painting that day.
You walk up the stone steps to enter Café UUU.
There's everything from cute amusement-park-style props to an Instagram-hotspot photo zone.

Bakery items and menu baked in-house
The variety of bakery baked in the store caught my eye. There are croissants and salt bread in different flavors, sandwiches and hot dogs packed with fresh ingredients, butter-rich scones and cookies, egg tarts, and rich Basque cheesecake too. If you're craving cookies, join the review event and get a ₩5,000 review cookie! haha
This Gimhae coffee spot has a variety of signature coffees and drinks. There's also a shaved ice dessert called 'Patdongsan,' piled high with domestic red beans.

If you buy over ₩30,000 worth of bread, they give you free packaging.

Next to the counter there's filtered water, forks, knives, tongs, scissors and sugar prepared, so once you get your drink you can just grab what you need.

1st floor seating, dogs allowed, and the outdoor terrace
Inside the 1st floor there are tables ranging from 4-person up to 8-person group seating. You can also open the door to the outside and enjoy coffee comfortably with your dog outdoors. The weather was so good on the day I visited that the outdoor tables on the 1st floor were completely full. The view of the outside from inside is really gorgeous.

The outdoor terrace decorated with various bonsai trees blends so well with the natural scenery that it's a great spot to just sit and have tea for a while.
Yu Yu Yu is a dog-friendly café. Just note that only the 1st floor is available for that.

2nd floor glass-wall seats and amenities
On the 2nd floor there are tables ranging from 2-person up to large-group seating. There's a big floor-to-ceiling window that gives a sense of openness, and overall it's clean with a plant-interior vibe — a good atmosphere to enjoy coffee and dessert while looking out at nature.
The 2nd floor has a simpler setup than the 1st, with tissues and filtered water, plus lap blankets prepared for customers who get cold.
The U-Cream Latte and two kinds of salt bread
The buzzer went off and our order arrived: salt bread, U-Cream Latte, and Ttalbabo Juice (strawberry + banana) for ₩6,000.
My favorite, Yu Yu Yu's signature drink, the U-Cream Latte, ₩6,500. You taste the rich, sweet milk cream first, then naturally drink the latte underneath. It has a nutty yet strong bean flavor from Yu Yu Yu, which is why it's my favorite coffee menu item. It's the reason 'Gimhae coffee spot' makes me think of the U-Cream Latte and the rich Basque cheesecake.

For our youngest, pure milk cream salt bread loaded with 100% dairy cream, ₩6,000. My husband's pick, chive cream cheese salt bread loaded with seasonal chives, ₩6,000.

The garden being prepped for the expansion opening
The old fence that used to be there is gone, and the motorcycle has moved to a corner of the newly decorated garden.

I heard Yu Yu Yu is doing its expansion opening this week. The building in front of the old parking lot was busy with construction. They were also fixing up a pretty garden behind the building. I took some pretty photos in the garden too — though since my dog was being so goofy, none of the photos came out normal, haha.
We had a great day playing fishing games in front of the café and looking at the cute dogs.
Amenities and hours
- 1st floor has separate men's and women's restrooms, with feminine hygiene products provided
- Large parking lot available
- Expansion construction is expected to finish and open in mid-August! When I visited last weekend, the owner said it would open the following week haha
- Hours: Mon–Fri 8:30 AM–10 PM / Sat–Sun 10 AM–10 PM (last order 9:30 PM)
