Korean head spa in Haeundae: scalp scaling & 30-min care, Eco Revi

Maybe it's the weather lately, but my scalp had been so itchy and just generally not doing great. Home care alone only goes so far, so I went to get some expert hands on it haha.

This time I visited Eco Revi Hair & Spa Haeundae Centum Branch! I'd heard their problem-scalp clinic was famous, so I went in with high expectations.

The moment I walked in, I loved how clean and upscale the atmosphere felt.

There's a private VIP room, so you can get quiet, comfortable, one-on-one scalp care!! The whole interior is sleek and clearly kept hygienic, so you can just focus on the treatment like you're at a healing retreat. Between the pleasant space and the classy atmosphere, it really felt like being properly taken care of...!!

While talking with the director, the first thing they did was a precise check with a scalp diagnosis camera! As you can see from the photos, my scalp condition before care was honestly shocking. Dead skin cells and buildup were clogging up around my pores, and there was heavy redness too haha. I'd always thought I shampooed thoroughly, but apparently it wasn't cleansing deep into the pores.

After the consultation, we went straight into the custom problem-scalp clinic care. They applied a scaling formula all over that gently softens up old dead skin cells. Then I just sat with it on for a bit — and they kept checking in to see if anything felt uncomfortable...!

Once the scalp was clean from the scaling, they applied a nutrient ampoule/essence to strengthen roots, calm the scalp, and restore the oil-water balance, so the scalp barrier could get stronger! The director's touch was so refreshing and precise — my whole head felt lighter and all the fatigue just melted away.

They also gave a massage while applying the products in between, and since it was a male designer, the pressure was strong — it felt so, so good! I'm definitely someone who prefers a firmer massage haha.

Then I lay back in a massage chair for about 30 minutes of head spa!! It was so comfortable I ended up dozing off... genuinely pure healing. That water-sound ASMR 💧💧 — it felt like all the buildup was draining out in real time.

After the care ended, they checked my scalp again with the diagnosis camera and I was genuinely shocked! The clogged pores were now clean and open, and the excess dead skin was completely cleared away. My scalp tone looked so much clearer and fresher — it was visible right away, which was wild. My head itself felt lighter, and I was so satisfied.

Finishing with aroma healing and a blow-dry

To finish, they did aroma healing and a blow-dry too. More massage on top, and they were so meticulous about it. To go into more detail — the scaling product melts away old dead skin, and then a highly concentrated ampoule with custom aroma oil relaxes the scalp! It felt like a full luxury course made for healing the scalp.

The before-and-after was seriously wild haha. The blow-dry was great too — so refreshing. I get scalp care whenever it crosses my mind, and honestly at this point it feels less like an option and more like a necessity!!
