Visiting Daenghaus&Bingsuking in Daegu with a kid and no dog
We went to Daenghaus&Bingsuking (댕하우스&빙수킹) in Daegu with our dog-obsessed kid, but no dog of our own in tow. It was way more pleasant and clean than we expected, and honestly we came away pretty shocked ‼️

Was the café clean and odor-free?
What is going on with this café's atmosphere?? The mood is lovely and it's spotless, period!! But the very first thing that surprised me the moment I walked through the door was that there was no smell at all — the place was clearly kept extremely clean ‼️‼️‼️ You could tell right away how much the owner cares about hygiene and upkeep 🥹

Here's the grooming price list!

They also sell dog treats, plus cake, rice dishes, pasta, dessert drinks, and even bingsu (shaved ice)! It's a place set up so you can take care of everything in one stop.

They said if you write a receipt review, you get moist chicken breast treats for your dog. Dog entry fee is ₩5,000 under 6kg and ₩7,000 over 6kg.

They also sell a low-irritant care-line soap for dogs.

I noticed kids' toys, wet wipes, and disposable bags for pet waste scattered around too.

A happy kid and a relaxed parent
It felt like a big kids' café — the kid is happy, the parent gets to relax. We went along mostly to let our kid watch the dogs since we don't have one, and she had so much fun she made me promise, like five times, that we'd come back haha

Parents sit back comfortably with a cup of coffee while the kids and dogs spend peaceful time in a safe space — it genuinely felt like being at a really pleasant kids' café 👍🏻

The outdoor pool and the 5,000-won dry room
The 1F outdoor pool even had adorable life jackets and little chairs for the dogs — so cute and surprising!! There were tons of dogs there too, and every single one looked so happy and bright, making friends and running around — just watching them was healing in itself. Some of them bravely rode tubes and swam around... this, I thought, is what healing looks like haha

You can use the dry room after swimming. It costs ₩5,000, and a towel is included if you pay at the counter. Natural soaps by skin type are also available for purchase!

Blueberry strawberry smoothie and ice cream coffee
The blueberry strawberry smoothie tasted like it was packed with real fruit — rich, bursting with freshness, and easily my favorite item. The ice cream coffee was a perfect match of sweet, soft ice cream against bitter espresso 👍🏻 And the Americano was nutty and clean, with really nice bean flavor!!

The 2F mat play zone and training space
On the 2nd floor there's even safety netting set up.

Going up to the 2nd floor felt like a whole different world — there was even a photo zone 👍🏻👍🏻

You can play casually or even do some training here!

For a dog owner, there's really no reason not to come here ❗️❗️❗️

Even without a dog of our own, Daenghaus in Daegu was a place where we could still heal alongside our kid! Definitely a great place to visit with a dog-loving kid, just like ours!
