The breading on the outside was crispy and savory, and inside was a thick cut of loin, so the texture on the first bite was really great 🥹 I eat tonkatsu often since I love it, and this one was satisfying enough that I'd want to order the fresh pork loin tonkatsu again next time 🤎

Dipping each piece in the sauce brought out the savory flavor even more, haha. The tonkatsu itself was so big that there was nothing to complain about portion-wise!! The outside especially had no sogginess at all and stayed crispy — so good 🤎

🍖 A sip of warm udon broth, then back to the crispy tonkatsu — the combo just keeps pulling you in, haha. If you want both tonkatsu and a warm broth, the udon set is worth trying 🔥

Ordering it spicy added a nice kick to the crispy karaage, which went really well with rice, haha. The spice level was about like Shin Ramyun?! 🍜 If you like tonkatsu, go for the fresh pork loin tonkatsu; if you like crispy chicken and rice bowls, the karaage don is a great pick, haha. Having tried both, it was hard to choose just one 🤤
