Seorae Village café with parking and a bakery lunch: Remangdore

I had some errands in Seorae Village, so I looked for a café nearby to take a break at lunch — and heard there was a great dessert spot around here, so I went to check it out haha

This is Remangdore Seorae Village Branch, a well-known dessert spot in Seorae Village. Paris 15 Park is right in front, which is also a nice place to rest for a bit.

Parking at Remangdore Seorae Village: 4,000 won for 2 hours

There's a parking lot right next to Remangdore Seorae Village Branch. You can park in Gangnam for as little as ₩4,000 for two hours. That said, if the lot is full, it can be tricky. There are public and shared parking lots nearby too, so you can use those instead. I played it safe and parked at a shared lot.

Remangdore's exterior and its dog policy

The exterior of the Seorae Village Remangdore store is simple, with no excess frills. It had a Japanese café kind of feel to it. The kind of natural look that makes you want to walk right in.

Remangdore Seorae Village Branch allows dogs that have completed their vaccinations. Dog owners, take note that pets are welcome here.

Inside Remangdore: layout and seating

The Remangdore Seorae Village Branch store feels like it stretches sideways. The tables are arranged along the corner. It's not a typical layout, which makes it feel unique, and since the tables are tucked in the corner, you can relax comfortably without facing the kitchen haha

The interior of Remangdore Seorae Village Branch is modern. It's got full glass windows, so it feels wide open.

They also sell Remangdore-branded goods. Coffee, thermoses, all sorts of things. The little red heart is cute. Feels like something worth buying just to have your own piece of the brand.

There's a park right next to Remangdore Seorae Village Branch, so it's great for a walk. I sat in a corner spot, out of everyone's sight.

Ordering the coffee of the day and three bakery items

Remangdore Seorae Village Branch has a range of desserts including vanilla Basque cheesecake, and the cheesecake looked soft and delicious.

I ordered Remangdore's coffee of the day. The price was under ₩5,000, which isn't bad at all. Besides the regular coffee, they also had some special Remangdore drinks. They have gift cards too, which would make a nice present for friends haha

Since this was doubling as lunch, I ordered a variety of bakery items. The pastries had that just-baked, upscale feel. The stylish plates caught my eye too.

A note describing the coffee's characteristics came along with it. Drinking with that kind of info versus without it probably makes a real difference in how you understand the flavor.

How the coffee of the day and egg tart taste

The coffee has a slight acidity that made it distinctive. Not overpowering, bittersweet, and clean. You could sense real expertise behind it. The one small letdown was that I wished the portion was a bit bigger. The egg tart was layered in sheets — crisp on the outside and moist in the egg part. Goes perfectly with the coffee.

Earl Grey scone at Remangdore

The scone has sugar on it, so it's a bit sweet, and since the scone itself is Earl Grey flavored, the two go well together. It's dense but not overly sweet, making it easy to eat.

Apple jam honeycomb pastry

This is a honeycomb-shaped pastry filled with apple jam. This one is also layered in sheets. It wasn't too sweet and had a fresh taste, which I liked.

I had a great time at Remangdore Seorae Village Branch, and since about half the scone was left, I packed it to go. The packaging was neat too — perfect :)

Is Remangdore worth a visit in Seorae Village?

Remangdore Seorae Village Branch was great for its modern interior and upscale-tasting desserts. Unlike other cafés, it has a not-too-dressed-up, effortless feel to it, if that makes sense. A café that was lovely for its natural vibe. If you're ever in Seorae Village, give it a visit~
