I FI.NAL.LY went to get my hair done after 1 year and 2 months. Since I searched high and low to find this salon, I was so satisfied that I wanted to share it with you all — so here I am, rushing to write this haha. Let's start the review!
Where is ID Hair Jeonju Hyeoksin Branch, and is there parking?
The salon I visited is ID Hair Jeonju Hyeoksin Branch! It's inside the Daebang DMC building, so the parking space is very spacious and super convenient if you're driving! Take Elevator 1 up to the 2nd floor and it's right there in front, so it's easy to find haha.
What is the salon like inside?
ID Hair Jeonju Hyeoksin Branch has a spacious, nice feel from the waiting room itself! It felt like a hotel lobby, so I felt pampered from the start.
I filled out a questionnaire, had a consultation with stylist Yejin who'd be taking charge of my hair today, and then went to my seat haha.
Isn't it so spacious and pleasant? Since you basically spend a few hours whenever you visit a salon, I'm not a fan of cramped places — it feels stuffy. This environment was spacious and comfortable, exactly meeting my needs!
The restroom is right out in the hallway, with 3–4 stalls for women, and it was very clean and nice!
They gave me drinks, jelly, yakgwa (Korean traditional cookie), and other snacks! They even wrote my name on it before bringing it over — so sweet.
Consultation for postpartum curly, damaged hair: magic straightening + C-curl perm
First, here's my hair after just being shampooed. It had been so long since I'd been to a salon because of pregnancy and childbirth that my hair condition was really bad. It was very curly and damaged, which was my concern, so after consulting with stylist Yejin, we decided to go with magic straightening + C-curl perm.
She cut my hair very meticulously!! It felt too heavy so she thinned it out a bit.
How the magic straightening and C-curl perm were done
After drying my hair, she applied the softening agent and did steam treatment twice haha. Since steam comes out, she even gave me tissues in case water touching my face was uncomfortable (so thoughtful, so thoughtful). After the steam treatment, she washed my hair and generously applied a clinic treatment to reduce hair damage. Thank you so much haha.
After shampooing, she dried my hair, straightened the top section with a flat iron, and curled the lower section with the C-curl perm, then heat-treated it and straightened it again with the flat iron haha.
After that, she applied the neutralizer, waited, shampooed, dried my hair, and finished with one more round of cutting! Having that extra cut at the end made for an even more polished result!
The result: how did the C-curl and the straightening turn out?
Ta-da, how does it look? This is right after just drying my hair post-shampoo, and I loved it so much! The length is just right, and the perm turned out great too, don't you think? haha

The photo above is my curly, dull-looking hair before the treatment... below is after. The magic straightening turned out really well too! I hoped it wouldn't lie too flat against my scalp, and she did exactly what I wanted haha.
Styling it myself the next day, and ID Hair's after-service
This photo is from the next day, just after drying my hair with a hair dryer haha. Even with my clumsy hands, it styled so easily and I loved it! For those of you who, like me, haven't been able to settle on one salon and keep wandering around, I recommend ID Hair Hyeoksin Branch! I had Yejin do my hair, and she was so kind and meticulous that I loved it so much (and she's so pretty too...).
It's a brand that does a lot of good beyond just skill, which makes me like it even more. If you're not satisfied with the service, you can also get after-service (of course, I was very satisfied haha). A salon with a beautiful heart and a sense of responsibility! I recommend this to anyone in Jeonju's Innovation City looking for a hair salon that's great at women's hair haha. Come visit once~~~
