Gangnam Station burger restaurant, two sides for three: Daily Fix
In short
Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch is a handmade burger restaurant midway between Gangnam Station and Yeoksam Station in Seoul. There was a queue at noon on a weekday, so we came back at 1:30pm for a bacon cheese burger, a Hawaiian bacon BBQ burger, chili cheese fries and fried eggplant — two sides for three people was far too much. Daily Fix is pricey for a burger spot, but the whole-bacon signature and the portions were both worth it.

Daily Fix is a place my cousin recommended when I lived near Gangnam Station, and it was so good I still go back whenever I'm craving a hand-made burger. Turns out it's also famous as a spot Kang Min-kyung recommended. I'm on a pre-baby food tour these days, so I stopped by this Gangnam Station burger spot again — here's my review.

Where is Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch?
Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch sits almost exactly between Gangnam Station and Yeoksam Station, haha. It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit 1 of Gangnam Station or Exit 3 of Yeoksam Station.

The entrance has serious American vibes, and the yellow sign really stands out.
Weekday lunch queue and the room inside Daily Fix
When I went around noon on a weekday, the wait was long, so I killed time at a nearby café and came back around 1:30pm — no wait at all by then. As soon as I walked in, the folding doors were wide open, which gave a great sense of openness.

There are also bar-style seats, which looked good for solo diners.

The whole place was bigger than I expected, and with the nice weather they had the doors fully open, giving it a European terrace feel.

Apparently the burgers were created by a chef who worked at a 3-Michelin-star restaurant in New York? That might explain why the whole place feels so American.
Daily Fix menu and what three of us ordered

Daily Fix's lineup ranges from patty melts to triple cheeseburgers. We ordered the bacon cheese burger and Hawaiian bacon BBQ burger that Kang Min-kyung reportedly recommended, plus fried eggplant and chili cheese fries as separate sides. There are set menus too, but you can't swap the fries for chili cheese fries in a set, sadly.

They also had new items like a pretzel bun burger and '18 fries,' which looked great, so I'm saving those for next time. The drink menu goes from milkshakes to draft beer, cocktails and whiskey shots, so it seems like a good spot for a drink in the evening too.

We went with soda, of course. Having Sprite Zero on the menu is exactly my taste haha.

Since the doors were wide open, they even had blankets ready for anyone who got cold!
Chili cheese fries 🍟
The chili cheese fries came out first. The fries were piled high with ground meat chili and cheese sauce.

The cheese sauce really was layered on thick. The chili was salty, but the cheese balanced it out nicely.

They gave us ketchup too, but there was already so much sauce that we never even touched it, haha.

The portion was huge — enough to easily count as two orders of fries in a set.
Fried eggplant 🍆
Daily Fix's fried eggplant comes as fried eggplant sticks topped with a light dusting of chili powder. The batter was crispy while the eggplant inside was soft, and the juice bursting out with each bite was excellent.

But... the portion size here too? We were three people who ordered 3 burgers and 2 sides, and honestly one side alone would have been plenty.
Dipping the eggplant in the celery sauce cut through the greasiness nicely.
Bacon cheese burger 🥓
The bacon cheese burger that Kang Min-kyung raved about. I was picturing thin McDonald's-style bacon, but this had a whole slab of bacon in it!

With one bite, the salty juices from the whole bacon mixed with the cheese, and even though the patty was thick, it had a soft texture so it never felt dry.
Hawaiian bacon BBQ burger 🍍
The Hawaiian bacon BBQ burger had thick layers of lettuce and bacon stacked up.

Inside, pineapple, bacon, patty and lettuce were layered up, giving it a healthier, more filling feel compared to the bacon cheese burger. The sweet-and-tangy combo of pineapple and BBQ sauce was a nice touch.
Is Daily Fix Gangnam worth the price?
I was so full from this lunch that I ended up skipping dinner that day. The prices run a little high, but the flavor and portions both matched up. If you're looking for a hand-made burger spot near Gangnam Station, I recommend Daily Fix — whole bacon is their signature 👍
