Hey everyone~! It's Junejune. 😉 Today I went to 'Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch,' a hot spot near Gangnam Station and Yeoksam Station that's already blowing up social media as a proper American-style burger restaurant!

YouTubers Tzuyang and Kang Min-kyung both stopped by and raved about it, so I went in with really high expectations lol. Let me give you an honest, first-hand taste review!

Inside Daily Fix: a casual American diner mood

You could spot Daily Fix's signature yellow accent color from a distance, even before reaching the storefront!

Step inside and a hip interior unfolds, totally different from your typical fast food joint vibe

The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows gave it a nice, open feel without any sense of being cramped

The tables were spaced generously, and there were solo dining seats where you could eat comfortably by yourself lol

There's also a self-serve pickle bar set up like this!

Plates and cutlery were already set at every table lol

What Junejune ordered at Daily Fix Gangnam

At Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch, you can order easily through the tablet placed at each table. That day I went all in and ordered a burger, a sandwich, and even a side!

1. Bacon cheeseburger: a juicy 100% Hanwoo beef patty

The bacon cheeseburger (₩12,900) is Daily Fix's signature flagship menu item, packed with a thick 100% Hanwoo beef patty and plenty of house-made bacon!

The thing that surprised me most on the first bite was the texture of the burger bun. It's a brioche bun with a subtle buttery aroma, so moist and soft it practically melts in your mouth, and the pairing with the patty was absolutely perfect ㅠㅠ

The patty isn't the thin, crispy style — it's the kind where you really chew through the heavy, meaty flavor, and the juiciness was insane haha. On top of that, the saltiness of the house-made bacon, which they say takes over 100 hours to prepare, blends with the richly melted cheese, and every single bite was just so good ㅠ

2. Pastrami sandwich: how does it taste?

The pastrami sandwich (₩15,900) offers a completely different charm from a regular burger! Instead of a burger bun, they use ciabatta-style sandwich bread that's crispy outside and moist inside. In between, there's a generous, unstinting amount of in-house smoked pastrami!!!

The more you chew, the more the bread's crispiness and the meat's clean texture come through pleasantly — it's cleaner and deeper in flavor than the burger, so you never get tired of it and keep going!

3. Coleslaw: the crisp, tangy side that cuts the richness

The coleslaw (₩6,900) — I seriously, seriously recommend this!!! It's the MVP side dish that kept things fresh in between bites of the burger and sandwich!

Thanks to the crunchy cabbage texture and a fresh, not-too-heavy dressing, it resets a burger that could otherwise feel greasy — kind of like a pickle haha.
