Nam-gu, Busan kids café with a massage chair: Kkomang

Are you looking for a kids’ café in Nam-gu, Busan, where the children can play their hearts out and Mom and Dad can take a comfortable little break? My husband and I were desperate for rest after being swept up in parenting and work, too. While searching for somewhere our child and we could both recharge, we found Kkomang Unmanned Kids Cafe (꼬망무인키즈카페).

Where can you park at Kkomang Unmanned Kids Cafe?

You can park in the alley by Deungchon Kalguksu next to the unmanned kids’ café, but spaces are rather limited, so we used the nearby paid Taerim Parking lot. It was ₩3,000 for one hour.

Kkomang Unmanned Kids Cafe is on the fourth floor at 52 Yongso-ro 13beon-gil, Nam-gu, Busan. It is open daily from 09:00 to 24:00.

Once your Naver booking is confirmed, you get a KakaoTalk message like this. I read and followed the instructions sent about 10 minutes before entry on the day, and it was easy to get into the unmanned café.

Facilities that were comfortable for both children and guardians

Unmanned kids’ cafés often have restrooms outside, which can be inconvenient, but the restroom at Kkomang Unmanned Kids Cafe in Nam-gu, Busan, is indoors, making it easy to use with a child.

There is a microwave for warming baby food, an electric kettle for preparing formula, and a first-aid kit that can come in handy if children get hurt.

There were drinks the children like, and beer that moms and dads like, too! Payment is easy by card terminal. There were also various phone chargers, which was so handy when our battery ran low from taking lots of photos of our child.

CCTV was installed throughout the play area. The cameras let guardians relax while keeping an eye on the children.

The highlight of Kkomang Unmanned Kids Cafe: the massage chair!

My husband, tired from driving throughout our Busan trip, was very pleased because the massage chair let him get some proper rest. You can watch TV while enjoying a massage, too :D

Play facilities at Kkomang Unmanned Kids Cafe

The interior is fairly long and laid out like a corridor.

Here and there were snake plushies,

and shark plushies and other things children like, so it was fun to look around together.

There is even a birthday banner for friends celebrating their birthdays.

What is available for fine-motor play?

The spot where our child spent the longest was the toy-car corner.

There was mini darts, too, and the toy corner had not only cars but all kinds of fine-motor activities, including a play kitchen, tool play, and blocks. There were dresses and a vanity that little princesses might like, too 🪞

I wanted to put a pretty princess dress on our child, but there was a firm refusal, so we passed ㅠㅠ I think little princesses would absolutely love them :D

The fishing play area was difficult for a four-year-old to do alone for a long time, but

I got the feeling that elementary-school children would play in this space for ages.

Is there play for gross-motor skills, too?

There is an indoor seesaw, too.

Seeing our child ride the seesaw alone made me feel a little sad. I thought it would have been even more fun to come with child friends or family.

There is a ride-on car that follows a rail, as well as a trampoline and a slide.

With activities developing both fine and gross motor skills, the two hours we booked truly flew by in the blink of an eye ♥ We also went to KidZania on this Busan trip, but our child said Kkomang Unmanned Kids Cafe was more fun. Hearing that made me think, I’m so glad we included it in our itinerary!
