I was looking for a café with a special vibe in Suwon and ended up at Orange Bagel~ Since it's a standalone building, it's pretty large, and the exterior was full of New York vintage energy. As a bagel specialty café, the variety of bagels was amazing! Each space has a different mood, so it was great to enjoy both the bagels and the interior together.

Orange Bagel location and opening hours
Orange Bagel is a bagel specialty café located at 129 Omokcheon-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. It's open daily from 07:30 to 21:00, every day of the year.

A standalone building with New York vintage style
Orange Bagel is one of Suwon's large-scale cafés. It occupies the entire standalone building, and the exterior gives off a strong New York vintage feel~ The space runs from the 1st to the 3rd floor, but each floor has a totally different mood. It was genuinely fun just wandering around.

The 1st floor has the ordering area, with a wide variety of bagels and drinks ready to go.

Further inside there are pub-style seats~ and on the other side, a space that feels like a little prop shop.

It genuinely felt like a stop on a New York trip, haha. Looking around was fun and memorable.

Three floors, each with its own mood
Going up to the 2nd floor of Orange Bagel, the space felt even bigger. Each seating area had such a different vibe that even within the same floor, it felt like entirely different places~

The space is decorated in so many different styles that it's fun to slowly explore. There are plenty of spots that are great for photos too^^

The 3rd floor has outdoor seating too. It would be great to use on a nice-weather day~ Enjoying a bagel outside sounds lovely. Thanks to this kind of atmosphere, it seems like a great pick for anyone looking for a Suwon café with a different kind of space.
How many kinds of bagels does Orange Bagel have?
Being a bagel specialty shop, the variety was really impressive! Just looking at them lined up made them look delicious, right? I wanted to try one of each, haha.

They put quite a bit of care into the ingredients too~ apparently they use French and Canadian flour along with French Président butter. It felt like they were aiming for a deeper flavor. There was plenty of variety to choose from depending on your taste.

There's scallion cream bacon, plain, cranberry, everything, blueberry, mocha bun, caprese tomato, pepperoni, crab and shrimp, potato, orange, olive tomato, corn, garlic, basil, rice craquelin, rye, deep choco, double cream, red bean butter, bacon egg mayo, Laugen butter, salmon, and jambon-beurre bagels. That's a lot of variety, right? With so many options, it seems easy to find something that fits your taste. If you have trouble deciding, you might struggle like I did... haha.

They also have a wide range of drinks, which pair nicely with the bagels!

Comparing five Orange Bagel flavors
Laugen butter: the texture stood out first
I picked the Laugen butter first. The shape alone caught my eye~ and the toasted color looked really appetizing, right? It's a bagel that incorporates Laugen, a traditional German bread. Apparently the dough is dipped in soda water before baking. That process is what creates the deep brown color.

The outside was crispy and salty. The inside was dense and chewy, so I could taste both the crispness and the chewiness together. On top of that came the buttery richness.
It felt like the flavor had an extra layer of depth. This was personally one of the tastiest menu items I tried.
Potato bagel: generous filling and topping
The potato bagel also caught my eye! It's packed with potato salad inside, so just looking at it felt filling. The toppings on top were impressive too, with sauce and potato chips layered on.
The texture of the potato held up well, and the seasoning was just right, not overwhelming. The sauce drizzled on top added flavor, and the light, savory taste paired well with the saltiness.
Orange bagel: a gentle citrus scent
I also picked out the orange bagel. The orange fragrance was quite rich~ and I liked that the bagel's own flavor still came through without tasting artificial. They apparently use orange juice and zest, which is probably why the natural flavor shines through. The fresh scent spreads gently, and it paired well with the plain-tasting bagel.
Olive tomato: the lightest of the five
I also picked the olive tomato. It's a tomato bagel topped with olives and cheese. The tomato flavor was subtle, while the olives and cheese added richness. It was light but never bland.

Pepperoni bagel tastes like pizza
The pepperoni really felt like pizza^^ The bagel was piled high with sauce and toppings, so it felt like eating pizza in bagel form. It paired well with the chewy bagel texture, so if you like pizza, you'll probably love this one. It's also a good pick if you're after something a little different.
Is one bagel enough for a meal?
Orange Bagel's bagels are generally large, so even just one was quite filling. It was more than enough for a simple meal, and with such a wide range of drinks available, it also worked well as brunch~ If you're looking for a Suwon bagel brunch café, the wide menu selection here should be satisfying. It also had a relaxed atmosphere that's great for chatting over bagels and drinks. It felt like a space that would suit anyone looking for a Suwon brunch café.

Orange Bagel bagels as a gift box
Orange Bagel also offers box packaging for its bagels. You can pick a few different flavors and box them up, which makes for a nice simple gift. Since you can choose the flavors, whoever receives it gets to enjoy some variety too.

Finding Kevin, the Orange Bagel mascot, around the café
There's a little dog hidden here and there around the café. That's Kevin, Orange Bagel's mascot^^ It's fun to look for Kevin while exploring the space. It almost feels like the café owner is welcoming you. Even a small detail like this ended up being fun. It would probably be a fun spot to visit with kids too, since you can enjoy exploring the space along with the bagels.
An easy bagel stop just outside Seoul
Orange Bagel is fairly large, so it's a comfortable place to spend some time. The New York-style space is impressive too, so if you're looking for places to visit in Gyeonggi-do, this could be a nice café outing. It's also a good pick when you want a distinctive vibe among cafés near Seoul. If you want to enjoy coffee along with your bagel, it's worth recommending to anyone looking for good coffee in Suwon^^
Parking at Orange Bagel
There's a large parking area in front of the Orange Bagel building. It was nice to be able to park comfortably~
Final verdict on Orange Bagel
Orange Bagel stood out from the space alone! The New York vintage feel really comes through, and with each floor having a different mood, exploring the place was genuinely fun. The bagel variety is impressive too, and each flavor had its own distinct character. The texture and flavor of the Laugen butter especially stood out~ Each bagel is generously sized, so it was plenty for a meal, and even more filling paired with a drink. If you're looking for a bagel brunch café in Suwon, I'd recommend Orange Bagel for both its menu and its space^^ It's a great place to enjoy bagels in a special atmosphere and take your time.
