Konkuk Station Exit 6 ice cream shop, two single cups: Beurre Beurre

I mentioned in my last post that I hang out around Konkuk a lot, right? This place is in Konkuk again haha. It's a Konkuk ice cream spot called "Beurre Beurre Konkuk University Rodeo Branch"!

Where is Beurre Beurre Konkuk University Rodeo Branch, and what are the hours?

Beurre Beurre Konkuk University Rodeo Branch is only 80m from Exit 6 of Konkuk University Station, so it was super close. I found it in under 5 minutes of walking from the exit.

True to its reputation as a Konkuk ice cream spot, the exterior looked like an ice cream shop from a mile away. It kind of gave off New York ice cream shop vibes too.

The Seongsu-dong hotspot premium ice cream Beurre Beurre has landed in Konkuk! I'd already heard Beurre Beurre ice cream is famous for its butter ice cream. I was excited even before going in.

Inside Beurre Beurre: the space and what else is on the menu

The store isn't big, but it felt very clean. I liked that you could see the whole interior at a glance.

They also sell cookies and Americano, a great pairing with ice cream. I bet buying a cookie to eat alongside the ice cream would have been amazing. But we'd overeaten at dinner, so we decided to just get ice cream...

Single, double or six-pack? Ordering at the Beurre Beurre kiosk

There were three sizes: Single (1 flavor), Double (2 flavors), and Six-pack (6 single packs). We ordered two Singles.

Ordering was convenient since it was done via kiosk. I always take forever to pick a flavor at ice cream shops like this, so being able to choose without feeling anyone's eyes on me was great.

Ooh, there were 16 flavors, so it took a while to decide. The green tea looked so good, and all the fruit flavors looked amazing too. Since it's butter ice cream, each one looked incredibly thick and rich.

How did the Melo Mango and Eomchindal single cups taste?

My friend's melon-mango single cup. It's an ice cream combining melon and mango. I stole a bite too, and it was so, so good that I was shocked after one taste. My friend said it tasted like nothing she'd ever had before.

My strawberry single cup — the name literally translates to "mom's friend's daughter," a Korean expression for someone else's impressive daughter. It had a sweet-tart, real strawberry taste. Why is it named that though? Mom's friend's strawberry...? You could really bite into strawberry chunks, and it was really delicious too.

Took a photo with my friend's ice cream too haha. The portion was bigger than I expected, which was nice. I vowed to try the melon-mango next time. That's how genuinely moving the flavor was, ugh.

This kid in the photo was enjoying the ice cream so much that if I saw this photo from outside the shop, I feel like I'd be pulled in as if hypnotized lol.

How many seats does Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo have?

Beurre Beurre Konkuk University Rodeo Branch has about two tables inside and about two tables outside. On nice weather days like these, eating at an outdoor table would be great too.
