Hi everyone~ Today I visited Stadium Convention Wedding, a wedding hall in Daegu known for good food! I'm at the age where wedding halls are on my mind, and if I do get married, I want to do it in Daegu, so I checked this place out. The consultant was super kind and the buffet was seriously delicious — let me introduce Stadium Convention Wedding right now!!
The 3rd-floor outdoor wedding hall: what a September–October outdoor wedding feels like
Stadium Convention Wedding has two halls total, indoor and outdoor~ I checked out the 3rd-floor outdoor wedding hall first~ The weather was cool and the sunlight was bright that day, so it looked really pretty haha. There were shaded spots too, and parasols were prepared for guests, which was really nice!

The bride's waiting room was beautifully decorated with flowers, and the path the bride walks was such a gorgeous flower path, I almost teared up. If you're getting married in September or October, an outdoor wedding here would be so romantic!!

The 2nd-floor indoor hall, bridal waiting room and photo zone
Then I took the elevator up to the indoor hall on the 2nd floor~
Before entering, there were wedding photos of the bride and groom and a photo zone, and next to the photos there was a bridal waiting room too!

The indoor hall was just as pretty as the outdoor one — lots of flowers, and the guest seating was arranged with antique-style furniture, which made it feel even more upscale haha. The flowers were so full and lush, and honestly I loved the indoor hall just as much as the outdoor one~ Plus the air conditioning was nice and cool!!

Inside the Stadium Convention Wedding buffet: raw salmon and whole tuna
And now, the buffet I'd been looking forward to!!! Right as you walk in there's a sushi corner with shrimp, octopus, egg, scallop, beef, cuttlefish, eel, and more — such a wide variety, and since it's made continuously, you get to enjoy it super fresh~
And the biggest jaw-drop moment!!!!! You can actually eat raw salmon and whole tuna sashimi!!! Most wedding buffets usually just use frozen fish, but this place uses raw salmon, so the sashimi melted in my mouth and was incredibly good~ On top of that, the shrimp, mussels, octopus, and crab were all delicious too, zero fishy smell and total winner!!

Korean corner, porridge and soups at the buffet
Next was the Korean food corner, with soy sauce marinated crab, japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), kimchi, jellyfish salad, and sea squirt bibimbap, among others

There was also pumpkin porridge, abalone intestine porridge, cream soup, crab soup, and pollack soup~ The pumpkin porridge especially was made with old squash instead of sweet pumpkin, which made it taste even better haha.

Hot corner, meat dishes and made-to-order noodles
After that, the hot corner had pizza, smoked duck, salad, jokbal (braised pig's trotters), and grilled scallops~
There was also salad, tteokgalbi (short rib patties), pork collar steak, and samgyeop barbecue, and the freshly fried tempura they kept restocking was so crispy and delicious~

There was also grilled shrimp, braised short ribs, bulgogi, fried rice, and chicken! Seriously the variety was so wide that eating just one of each already filled me up haha.
There's spaghetti, shabu-shabu, pho, udon, and jajangmyeon too! Especially the pho, shabu-shabu, udon, and jajangmyeon — once you pile your ingredients in, they're made to order right there, so you get to eat them piping hot, which was really great haha.

The dessert corner
Finally, the dessert corner had fresh, sweet fruits and a wide variety including cereal, yogurt, milk, rice cakes, yakgwa (honey cookies), cake, macarons, and bread~
What we actually put on our plates
As soon as we arrived we went straight for the sashimi and meat~ The sashimi was so fresh it melted in the mouth, and the meat was well smoked, very tender, and thick-cut, so it was really satisfying to eat!
The sashimi was so good that for round two we went back for more sashimi and sushi, then after that we had more seafood, pho, and meat! Seriously the pho was so warm and delicious!! Since it's made fresh on the spot, you really have to try this one~
After tasting a bit of everything I was already so full, so I finished off my last plate with dessert~ The fruit was sweet and good, and the macarons and cake were all delicious too!!! Honestly, people often get disappointed when a wedding buffet isn't tasty, but this one was so good it actually made me want to get married here just for the buffet haha. If you're looking for a Daegu wedding hall with a great buffet, I highly recommend this place haha.
The spacing between buffet tables was good and there were plenty of seats, which I really liked~ There are baby chairs too, so people bringing babies can eat comfortably, and all the staff were kind!!
Oh, and by the way, you can also drink soft drinks, sikhye, sujeonggwa, other beverages, and draft beer, so keep that in mind too~
Verdict: is Stadium Convention Wedding a good Daegu wedding hall?
First of all, Stadium Convention Wedding's outdoor wedding hall is so pretty!! It would be perfect on a cool day like the weather these days haha. The indoor hall also had tons of flowers, giving it a really upscale look, and the interior was so beautifully decorated that I liked it a lot haha. The staff member who did the consultation was super kind, and best of all, since the wedding hall is right inside the stadium complex, there's no worry about parking~ It's huge, so there's no parking stress or traffic jams, and the buffet was so delicious~ I think this is the best value-for-money and tastiest wedding buffet I've been to recently!! If you're looking for a Daegu wedding venue with a great buffet or an outdoor wedding hall, I highly recommend Stadium Convention Wedding haha.
