Yeouido private yacht charter on the Mermaid boat: Sailing Paradise
In short
Sailing Paradise is a Han River yacht tour operator inside Hanriver Paradise at Yeouido Hangang Park in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. To surprise her younger sister, who had never been on a yacht, the writer booked a 7 pm weekday private tour on a weekday after work and brought white wine and snacks, cruising the Han River from sunset into the night views. Even the cheapest private boat, the Mermaid, costs 300,000 won for exclusive use, which makes Sailing Paradise a workable choice for a surprise event or an anniversary.

A Han River yacht date recommendation in Seoul — my private tour review of Sailing Paradise. Written and photographed by Yuni
My sister and I hadn't hung out in a while, so I lured her to the Han River with the promise of ramyeon. Turns out she'd never been on a yacht before, so I secretly arranged a surprise for her — a private tour at Sailing Paradise, famous as a Han River yacht date spot in Seoul.

1. Where Sailing Paradise is and where to park
Sailing Paradise is located at Hanriver Paradise near the 63 Building in Yeouido Hangang Park, Seoul. It's known as a top Han River yacht date spot.

There's a Sailing Paradise sign right at the entrance of Hanriver Paradise, so it was easy to find even on my first visit haha~
Paid parking available
I met my sister right after work and we just walked over from the office to the Han River park, but if you're driving, there's 🅿️ Yeouido Hangang Park Parking Lot 1 right nearby, so you can park there directly!

2. How much a Han River yacht tour costs and how to book
Sailing Paradise's general yacht tours run ₩30,000 to ₩50,000 per adult, while the private tour starts at ₩300,000 for the cheapest boat, the Mermaid. Book through Naver Reservations, ideally 1–2 weeks in advance.
The yacht tours I'd been on before were all the type where multiple people share one boat out at sea, but the great thing about Sailing Paradise's Han River yacht tour is that they run all kinds of boats — small, medium, large, and even sailing yachts!
Proposals and wedding photo shoots on board
Like our tour, a private tour is also great for marking special occasions like proposals or wedding photoshoots.
Parties and private events on the yacht
They also have large yachts that can host onboard parties, so you can rent one out for all kinds of events~
Sailing Paradise pricing
Honestly, before trying a yacht tour I worried it'd be pricey, but at ₩30,000–₩50,000 per adult, it's completely affordable!

Of course, the private yacht tour costs a bit more than the general one, but even the cheapest Mermaid boat lets you enjoy a private Han River yacht tour for ₩300,000, with add-ons like proposal setups or catering — perfect for an anniversary or surprise event!! 👍👍👍
How to book
You need to book 1–2 weeks ahead, but Sailing Paradise at Yeouido Hangang Park, a great spot for a Han River yacht date in Seoul, is easy to reserve through Naver Reservations!

3. What the Mermaid private tour was like
I work in Yeouido but always rush home after work, so I wasn't very familiar with the Hangang Park — but the owner came out to greet us at the entrance, so we didn't get lost at all. Big plus for Sailing Paradise.

Filling out the boarding declaration form
You need to fill out a boarding declaration form before getting on the yacht, so arriving with at least 10 minutes to spare is a must!

Is there a waiting area before boarding?
I clocked out right at 6 and rushed over, so we had a lot of time to spare — but there's such a nicely styled waiting area that it was great just relaxing there while looking out at the Han River ^.^

Following the owner's lead toward the boarding area, I was amazed by how many different yachts there were, from large to small!!!

And this is the one we boarded!

A clean, all-white yacht that would be perfect for couples on a Han River date in Seoul combined with a yacht tour, but also great for spending special time with family like I did! 😘

The 7 pm slot: sunset over the 63 Building
I deliberately booked 7 pm because I wanted to catch the sunset — and the sky turning pink over the 63 Building and Yeouido Hangang Park was so beautiful.

They also served white wine, cider, and some light snacks

which totally hit the spot for us sisters who love low-alcohol, sweet drinks 🍷

As the sun sank further west, the whole atmosphere got even more romantic — Sailing Paradise's private Han River yacht tour date in Seoul, at its best ✨

It was my first time on a yacht tour on the Han River, and watching the Seoul night views while the breeze gently blew was pure romance.

Best photo spot: the National Assembly Building
While we were just gasping 'wow, so pretty' at the sunset, the captain pointed out the photo spot for the National Assembly Building, known as Seoul's 'Manhattan' — and we got lucky with some amazing shots 📷

As the sky darkened, the lights turning on matched the mood perfectly — Sailing Paradise's Han River yacht tour in Seoul was full of feeling and romance right to the very end.
Would I book a sisters' yacht date at Sailing Paradise again?
Seeing my sister so happy made me happy too — this private Han River yacht tour date with my sister at Sailing Paradise in Seoul. Watching Seoul's night skyline from the water felt so unique, romantic, and healing that I'd want to come back with my parents or a partner for an anniversary. If you're looking for a unique yet romantic date course in Seoul, I'd recommend the private Han River yacht tour at Sailing Paradise!
