Baby-friendly Paju café with high chairs and mango bingsu: Fruit

You can't let summer end without eating mango bingsu~ I got a craving for mango bingsu and looked up a café, and found Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store, a real deal spot piled high with fresh mango.

Fruit Forest is apparently famous as a bingsu place that loads on tons of fresh fruit. My baby Ppuggu loves mango like crazy anyway, so I figured I'd feed her mango off the bingsu while getting a nice drive out to Paju. So here's my honest review.

Fruit Forest Paju bingsu menu and the mango juice buy-one-get-one deal

Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store specializes in fresh fruit, so there are really so many bingsu options. They even had a fresh mango juice 1+1 promotion going on! No wonder so many people were drinking mango juice.

I saw a ton of fruit bingsu options. Wow, besides mango bingsu there was regular injeolmi (rice cake) red bean bingsu, peach bingsu, melon bingsu, fig bingsu, and even a 10-fruit assorted bingsu — a genuine fruit bingsu paradise!!!!

Real whole fresh fruit, not syrup or purée

What surprised me the moment I walked into Fruit Forest was the mountain of mangoes. They don't use frozen fruit here — it's really fresh, good-condition fruit. There were so many mangoes like this. My eyes went wide at the sight.

There were even mangoes being ripened on-site... wow, this is truly a proper fruit bingsu shop. I'd never seen that many mangoes in one place — it was fascinating. Ppuggu also kept looking around like the fruit fascinated her too.

Besides mango, they must only put in the freshest fruit for the assorted bingsu too — peach, watermelon, pineapple, dragon fruit, blueberry, orange, and more.

They were even selling oranges like this! Their fruit is delicious, so it might be nice to buy some fruit here too!

Dragon fruit is hard to find at a regular grocery store, so buying it here would be nice too!!!! Figs, kiwis, bananas — such a wide variety of fruit, right?!

Three spacious floors with high chairs for babies

Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store is a spacious place spanning floors 1 to 3, and baby chairs are provided. When we visited after lunch it was completely full so I couldn't take photos, but once it emptied out a bit I got a shot of the interior.

Baby chairs were provided and the interior was spacious. But visiting during the weekday lunch peak, even this big space was completely full! I'd imagine it's even more crowded on weekends! Watch your timing and visit accordingly, haha.

In one corner of the shop I noticed wallpaper with the Fruit Forest logo printed on it, and it was so pretty! Wow, photos here would come out great too. A cute forest of fruit, kind of like Animal Crossing, haha.

How big is the 32,000 won fresh mango snow bingsu?

Fruit Forest's fresh mango snow bingsu is priced at ₩32,000, which is a bit steep, but it came piled with so much delicious mango that the price made sense.

The ice cream on top tasted just like New York Cheesecake flavor from Baskin Robbins!!! And the bits of cream cheesecake tucked in between the ice cream were so, so good, weren't they?

The size was so huge that I felt like three or four people could easily eat it comfortably... but us two big eaters demolished it together, hoho.

Why Fruit Forest Paju works with a baby in tow

I tried giving my baby a bite of the syrup-free fresh mango, and she ate it up so happily haha. She looked so delighted, kept opening her mouth like a little sparrow going 'ahh,' so I gave her lots of mango. The mango was sweet and well-ripened, so it was soft and delicious.

True to the 'snow' bingsu title, the ice inside was milk ice!!! And instead of hard shaved ice that hurts your teeth, it was smoothly ground milk ice, so eating it as it melted was absolutely amazing~~~~

The privilege of fresh mango bingsu: scooping up a big pile of mango and eating it in one bite. What luxury is this. Eating three pieces of mango in one bite makes me such a happy person, hahahaha.

Mango that never seemed to run out no matter how much we ate. Once all the mango was gone and only the milk ice was left, we poured on plenty of mango syrup and finished it that way, haha. If you're looking for a mango bingsu café in Paju, I recommend this place!
