So many plates of sushi spinning on the conveyor belt! If the sushi you want isn't on the belt, or if you want something served warm, just tell the chef right in front of you and they'll make it fresh on the spot 👨‍🍳✨

Six plates of salmon: what the couple ordered first

Sushi plates picked out that day
Sushi plates on the table

Normally I don't eat much salmon at conveyor-belt sushi places, you know? But the thickness of the salmon at Sushi Ian N was insane... It was so ridiculously good that I ended up eating 6 plates of just salmon that day hahaha 🍣🔥

Both the regular salmon nigiri and the salmon belly were amazing quality.

My boyfriend's favorite pick was flounder and engawa (flounder fin)! I stole a piece to try too, and the thick cut of raw fish had this chewy yet crisp-tender bite that was truly an art form.

In the end, we both went hardest on the salmon and flounder haha.

Live-fish aged kimchi sushi and flame-torched wagyu steak sushi

The live fish aged-kimchi sushi had a perfect balance of refreshing aged kimchi and raw fish — perfect for cleansing the palate between meat or salmon.

The wagyu steak flame-torched sushi had tender meat with a subtle smoky char that was seriously delicious.

The ankimo was sweet and delicious too!

Flying fish roe gunkan & monkfish liver (ankimo) kim maki. The flying fish roe gunkan, where the roe pops in your mouth with a nutty flavor, and the rich, creamy ankimo — both totally satisfying!

Golden, crispy fried shrimp

The fried shrimp was crispy on the outside and packed with plump, springy shrimp meat inside — a must-have side to enjoy alongside the sushi for a nutty crunch!

The octopus wasabi had the perfect combo of that sharp wasabi kick and the chewy, springy texture of the octopus, which cleaned my palate right up.

Yuzu salmon sushi, engawa caviar sushi and freshwater eel

Thick-cut yuzu salmon sushi
You can tell the salmon is thick just by looking!!!

The yuzu salmon sushi had thick, soft salmon topped with a bright, fragrant yuzu flavor that cut through the richness and left only a clean finish — a real specialty item!

Engawa caviar sushi

The engawa caviar sushi had caviar on top of flounder fin, which deepened the flavor even more. (My boyfriend also ordered 2 pieces of flounder on the side, of course.)

The freshwater eel sushi was fully soaked in teriyaki sauce, and the eel meat was so tender it practically melted in my mouth!

Shine muscat grapes for dessert
The shine muscat was surprisingly really good!!!

We finished it all off perfectly with some sweet, refreshing shine muscat grapes ~~

By the way, my Pilates instructor said her favorite is the sweet shrimp and egg sushi! Just a bonus recommendation 👍
