What is Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store
Today I went to a fruit bingsu (shaved ice dessert) spot in Paju, Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store~ I was shocked the moment I walked in by the sheer amount of mango, hahaha! It's a proper bingsu spot!
Mango bingsu seems to be really famous here. It looked like every fruit — mango, melon, all of it — was sourced for high sweetness.
I agonized over mango vs melon bingsu forever, but I ended up going with melon and the melon was insanely sweet with crazy juice. I haven't tried the mango but I highly, highly recommend the melon!!! It's seriously, seriously, seriously delicious 😮💨🤤
My mom loves bingsu so we went together, and honestly we both fell for this place. She said she wants to come back again haha. I'll go into detail below with photos!

Why the ripening mango display shocked me
By the way, I was really struck by how sincere the owner is about fruit... So many mangoes...!!!!!!!!! And they're even ripening deliciously 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 The owner clearly knows their stuff — the mango bingsu has got to be good ••

Here's the menu~~ When I visited, they had a 1+1 event on fresh mango juice going on and I simply could not resist!!
We ordered melon snow bingsu and the fresh mango juice 1+1 event~~ I was curious about the bakery items too but I'll have to try those next time 👀
The bingsu is made by cutting fresh fruit the moment you order! No wonder it's delicious ••
After ordering, they give you a buzzer.
Our order arrived 😍😍 They gave us small plates too! With this much fruit it really drips everywhere so a small plate is a must, hahahaha.

Fresh mango juice
Even the stirrer in the fresh mango juice was cute haha. Just stir it well before drinking. Cold, sweet mango flavor — perfect for summer! Give it a stir each time before you sip.
How the melon snow bingsu tastes, and the portion
Let's try the melon bingsu 😍 Melon, cheese cubes, and yogurt ice cream are piled on top of the snow ice.
The visuals are just... 🤤❤️ Underneath is melt-in-your-mouth snow ice filling it all up.
Anyway, the melon juice is insane, seriously so!!! delicious.
The portion of melon is really generous too. We ate it with my mom and after this we were both full, hahahahahaha. She kept saying the melon was so good ^_^
If you're looking for a Paju bingsu spot or a café near Samhaksan, I recommend Fruit Forest 😍
