The Paju bakery that always seemed packed

I heard there was a bakery in Paju Unjeong with amazing bread, so I stopped by right away. I had noticed this bakery while passing through before, and it always seemed to have lots of people..!

It had so many rave reviews when I searched Naver reviews too, so I was really curious about it—and I finally got to visit.

This is Boulangerie Tan Unjeong Main Branch, a beloved bakery in Paju Unjeong. This is the main branch, and there is apparently one inside Hyundai Department Store Kintex too. The main branch is in the Farm Star Tower building, and if you need to park, make sure to use the Farm Star Tower parking lot, not the Farm Smart parking lot! They say you can park free for 2 hours in the Farm Star Tower lot~!

This is the entrance to Boulangerie Tan. The reason I could not photograph it properly was... this bakery was seriously crowded.. wow. I visited a little after weekday lunchtime, but as you can see, it was still packed with customers...

If you want to try lots of different breads, I recommend visiting a little earlier!!

As soon as I went in, I noticed the shop was compact! The kind of compact where two or three adults make it feel full..! After paying, they call your number. I took a quick look around and decided to choose my breads.

The shop is small, but the display case held lots of breads. There were more varieties than I expected, so I genuinely did not know what to order... suddenly, major decision paralysis... haha.

I had parked on the roadside rather than in the parking lot, so I did not have time to browse slowly and chose in a rush, hahaha. I ordered two chewy rice cake salt breads, one olive cheese ciabatta, and one fig cream cheese baguette! This is not a self-serve setup; you tell them what you want and they pack it for you.

The offer for buying three salt breads

I already had breads recommended to me and breads I wanted to try, so I hurriedly finished ordering. But after I had fully paid, I saw that if you buy three salt breads, they give you one gourmet butter salt bread too..!! If I had seen it earlier, I would have bought threeㅠㅠ hahaha.

Next time, I absolutely have to get this offer~! I was so curious about the gourmet butter salt bread too...!! If you are reading this post, make sure you buy three!!

Even the packaging at Boulangerie Tan, this great Unjeong bakery, felt stylish. It was so substantial that I was completely excited to find out how good the breads would be! I hugged it to my chest like an American girl and went straight home, hahaha. I wanted to tear into it in the car right away,, haha.

From chewy rice cake salt bread to fig baguette

I tried the chewy rice cake salt bread and olive cheese ciabatta first.

This chewy rice cake salt bread is seriously insane;; Just ridiculously delicious!! So, so, SO ridiculously delicious...

No, next time I go, I am buying up every last one. Seriously; it is the best salt bread I have eaten in my life. I truly, genuinely mean it...

The olive cheese ciabatta was delicious too. It was nicely salty and nutty, so I kept reaching for it..!!

Lastly, the fig cream cheese baguette. My younger sibling said this one was good, so I tried it—but honestly, I do not really like figs, you know? But it turns out every fig I had eaten before was the problem...

The figs at Boulangerie Tan were genuinely sweet and had a great texture, so I ate it thinking, wait, I like figs..? haha;; And I do not usually like cream cheese either, hahaha. But even with that, I found myself thinking... wait, I like cream cheese..? The baguette was not hard at all and had a great texture.

I am going to stop by again to buy bread before heading back to Seoul.. This time I will visit earlier.. It is seriously so delicious;; The chewy rice cake salt bread especially feels like such a bargain too...! I want to buy one for everyone around me and tell them to try it...!
