Dog-friendly brunch with Bukhan River terrace seats in Namyangju: MR

The weather was so nice that I went to Namyangju for brunch, and I was so satisfied because the view was gorgeous and there were so many photo zones! MR Namyangju Main Branch, a Bukhan River view brunch spot. The scenery was picture-perfect and the vibe was so calm — properly healed myself here 🤍

1. MR main building — floor-to-ceiling Bukhan River view

The main building is entirely floor-to-ceiling windows, so the Bukhan River peeks through beyond the outdoor terrace seats — just staring out the window is instantly healing... this place really earns the

2. MR annex — kid-care zone on the 2nd floor

This is the annex, run as a kid-care zone! The vibe is completely different from the main building — it's decorated almost like an IKEA showroom!

And it's real floor-to-ceiling glass so the natural light is great, and selfies come out amazing here 🤍 I secretly borrowed my sister's Osmo Pocket 3... this thing is a total treasure! Photos and videos come out so well!

Also, since the annex is on the 2nd floor, the Bukhan River view is much wider than from the main building!

3. MR outdoor terrace — prime spot for zoning out at the water

The breeze was cool and the weather was just perfect, so we took a seat on the outdoor terrace!

Lake, river, sea, valley — doesn't matter, if it's water + café combo, I'm the one who runs straight there~~

The outdoor seating vibe was so good that my boyfriend and I sat there for a long while!

My boyfriend took my photo and I'm so satisfied with it... I only told him the angle once, and he still got me a life shot in my own style~~ Also, since it's a pet-friendly café, there were so many cute dog friends around. Next time I definitely need to bring our own troublemaker, Kimchoseoni!

There were mirror photo zones all over the place and I loved it~~ I have a condition where I can never pass by a mirror photo zone, so whenever we spotted one, we had to take a couple photo,,

MR's menu and what we ordered

They sell everything from handmade burgers to various pastas, salads, coffee, and drinks, so it works whether you're going for brunch or just coffee. And for a brunch café, the prices are pretty reasonable!

The two of us ordered a Mountain Burger, spicy carbonara, an Americano, and a Zero Coke!

Mountain Burger, ₩23,000. Instead of the greasy, heavy taste of a typical handmade burger, this one really lets the natural flavor of the ingredients shine through — light and clean! People who don't like greasy food, or older folks, could enjoy this without any burden! It comes with fries on the side too, so the portion is generous!

Spicy Carbonara, ₩23,000. I ordered it right away because it said 'spicy carbonara'! There was plenty of bacon in it, and the cream sauce wasn't greasy at all — a pasta I really liked!

Recommended as a Bukhan River drive course

A perfect spot to sit on the outdoor terrace on a cool, clear day and take it easy while looking at the Bukhan River! It'd probably be pretty in every season, but for enjoying the outdoor seats, this weather right now might be the best~~ It's also great as a drive course, so my boyfriend and I decided to come back later just for drinks!
