Sindorim jokbal restaurant: 73,000₩ three-meat set for 3, Sambaekga
In short
Sindorim Sambaekga is a jokbal-bossam (braised pig's trotter and boiled pork) restaurant in Guro, Seoul, inside the Sindorim 1-cha Prugio commercial building across from Sindorim Station Exit 1. On a Sunday lunch three of us ordered the Sambaek special set with hand-made tray makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles) for 73,000₩, which brought jokbal, bossam and flame-grilled spicy jokbal on one plate, and two zero-sugar colas took the bill to 77,000₩. The underground parking lot at Sindorim Sambaekga is closed for construction so cars go to the building next door, but the flavour and the portions were faultless.

My friend is a total Korean-food person, so I searched around for a while to find somewhere that would suit her taste. Sindorim turned out to be the perfect midpoint between where I live and where she lives, super easy to meet at. The subway lines there are so well connected and it's close to the station too, so getting there and back felt effortless. The three of us went on a Sunday for lunch, and honestly we fell so hard for the set + makguksu combo that we wiped the plate clean.
Today's post should help anyone looking for a Sindorim group dinner spot, or curious about a good jokbal-bossam restaurant in Sindorim.

Why is Sindorim Sambaekga packed even at Sunday lunch?

When we walked into Sindorim Sambaekga there were only about three empty tables left. I was a little surprised how lively it was inside even on a holiday. I already knew Sindorim was a big office-worker area, but seeing it this busy on a weekend made me wonder if this place draws crowds regardless of weekday or weekend. If you work nearby, this could easily be your go-to Sindorim group dinner spot.
Where to park while the Sindorim Sambaekga garage is under construction
There's something important to know before you drive here. We brought a car, but since the old Homeplus nearby is gone, the underground parking lot is apparently under construction now ㅠㅠ We couldn't park at all, so we left the car at the parking lot of the building next door and walked over.
It seems unlikely you'll get parking support from the restaurant until construction wraps up — once it's done, the usual 2-hour support should come back. If you're driving to a Sindorim group dinner, plan for this ahead of time.
What comes in the 73,000₩ Sambaek special set: jokbal, bossam and spicy grilled jokbal

True to a solid jokbal-bossam restaurant in Sindorim, the jokbal, bossam and grilled spicy jokbal all arrive piled high on one huge plate. The three of us gasped at the visuals the second it landed, and the portion was just right for three adults — plenty, in that satisfying kind of full. With three types of meat there's no fighting over preferences, which made it great for a group like ours, everyone picking their favorite.

Among Sindorim's jokbal-bossam restaurants, this one's basic jokbal comes whole-leg style, so the skin wasn't tough at all — soft and chewy! No gamey pork smell whatsoever, and the meat itself was tender, a faithful take on the basics.

The bossam (boiled pork) was moist through and through, no dryness at all.

It loses flavor once it cools, so I'd recommend eating it fresh, wrapped with bossam kimchi and dried radish strips right away.

The grilled spicy jokbal hit with a burst of smoky char the moment it entered my mouth, really striking. Pleasantly spicy-sweet, so when the regular jokbal started to feel a bit greasy, grabbing a piece of this kept us from ever getting tired of it.
Hand-made tray makguksu: cold noodles rolled up with the pork

We added this mid-meal to wash away the greasiness. The noodles were chewy and the sauce sweet-and-tangy, cleaning up all that oiliness in our mouths. The best part was grabbing a piece of jokbal from this jokbal-bossam spot and rolling it up in the makguksu noodles…🤤💦 This combo was genuinely amazing — the three of us finished almost every drop of broth.
Dishes we skipped at Sindorim Sambaekga: kalguksu and the lunch special
There are several other options beyond the set we had. There's a separate set without the spicy grilled jokbal, so if you can't handle spice, that might be the better pick.
Aside from the makguksu we had, there's also a hand-made kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) that reportedly uses fresh dough. Order the kalguksu and you get barley rice, gochujang and sesame oil on the side to mix yourself — so if you want rice included too, kalguksu might actually be the better choice! They also run a lunch special on weekday afternoons, so if you want something lighter, that time slot could be worth targeting.
Is the Sindorim Sambaekga three-meat set worth it? Final verdict
Aside from the minor hassle of parking next door because of the lot construction, the food and portions left nothing to complain about. For ₩73,000, tasting all three types of meat plus makguksu on the side made me think this would work great as a Sindorim group dinner spot too.
If you're looking for a good jokbal-bossam restaurant in Sindorim or trying to pick a Sindorim group dinner spot, how about Sambaekga? We're already planning to come back here next time we're craving jokbal-bossam in Sindorim.
