Clam broth ramen in Suseong, Daegu: Ryusenso Beomeo
In short
Ryusenso Beomeo Branch is a ramen restaurant in Suseong, Daegu, serving Fukuoka-style ramen and Japanese sides. We ordered level 2 spicy Ryusenso Kara, clam-broth Ryusenso Asari, tori karaage, and yaki gyoza. Ryusenso Asari was a total hit for a warm, travel-like meal.

My dining buddy said they’d been craving the ramen they ate in Fukuoka for days 😂 So after searching hard, we found a Fukuoka-style ramen spot 🫡

Getting to Ryusenso Beomeo Branch and opening hours
It’s near exits 2 and 3 of Suseong-gu Office Station, and it’s open Monday through Sunday from 11:30 to 21:00! 😋

Last order is at 20:30, and we arrived around 20:15, but thankfully they kindly took our order :-)

A Fukuoka-feel interior
The outside had that Fukuoka feel, and so did the interior! 🇯🇵 There are lots of counter-style tables, so it would be great for eating alone or grabbing a quick weekday lunch!

There are plenty of tables for groups, too! 😋

The seat I wanted most! This kind of setup feels so Japan, you know〰️🇯🇵

Ryusenso doesn’t just serve Japanese ramen—it gives you a little travel mood while you eat, too 🙂↕️ Maybe that’s why we found ourselves chatting away about our Fukuoka trip and eating as if we were really traveling.. 💖

Ordering is easy at the kiosk!
Ryusenso Beomeo Branch menu

In Hakata, Fukuoka, the smell of pork bones simmering fills the whole neighborhood...! As you can see on the menu, Ryusenso also simmers pork bones for a long time to make its ramen broth!!! I was sooo excited for Ryusenso....!!!!

There are five types of ramen! The broths range from pork bone to clam-based seafood broth. I love that you can choose according to your taste :-)
Ryusenso Kara, Asari, and sides
- Ryusenso Kara (level 2 spice)
- Ryusenso Asari
- Tori karaage (Japanese fried chicken)
- Yaki gyoza (pan-fried dumplings)

Level 2 spicy Ryusenso Kara

First up was the spicy Ryusenso Kara that my dining buddy ordered!

It came loaded with a big piece of tonkotsu pork, crunchy wood ear mushrooms, and an egg cooked just right with a soft center! I thought it was really generous, with nothing missing :-)

My dining buddy was slurping it down saying the broth had a nice spicy kick hahaha. Level 2 was a little spicier than Shin Ramyun! Honestly, it seemed to have more spice than ramen in Japan, which made it even better..!!! I’m a spicy-food-loving person 🥵
Clam-broth Ryusenso Asari

This is the Ryusenso Asari I ordered! I was craving a lighter broth than pork bone, so I tried the clam-broth Asari. The result? Total satisfaction..! I found my life-changing ramen here....!!!!

Does anyone here love the broth from shabu-shabu or mille-feuille nabe? The clam-broth Asari is exactly that kind of broth in ramen form ✨

Wow.. Seeing the video makes me want to drink that broth again 🤤

You can really taste the clean, refreshing clam broth, and the noodles are perfectly springy too—such a perfect match,, ✨
Tori karaage and yaki gyoza

For a side, we ordered tori karaage, Japanese fried chicken! The coating was thin and crispy + nicely salty..!!! 💖 The meat was thick and juicy 🤤

Aww, looking at the photos makes me want it again,, This alone is enough to finish a beer in no time 😂

These yaki gyoza were crispy outside and moist inside! They came with sauce drizzled on top, and it was neither too salty nor too sweet—just right. The filling was packed in and so, so juicy..!!! The outside was like a fried dumpling, but the inside was like a steamed dumpling, maybe? Yaki gyoza with only the best parts of both! Cleaned my plate again today,, 💖

We cleaned our plates, leaving only broth and sauce,, ✨ Even while writing this, my mouth is wateringㅠㅠ I need to go back on a weekdayㅠㅠㅠ 🤤 On chilly days with a little breeze like these, how about a hot bowl of ramen~? When you’re craving a filling meal with a range of Japanese-style dishes, give it a visit! Highly, highly recommended⭐️
