I visited Hojueseo on Hoejeon Chobap, a great conveyor-belt sushi spot in Ocheon-eup, Nam-gu, Pohang.

Hojueseo on Hoejeon Chobap is a great-value conveyor-belt sushi restaurant where every sushi plate costs ₩2,200. The place was really spacious and prettier than I expected. At first I was like, this is a sushi restaurant...?

What are the parking and seating like?

There was parking right in front of the restaurant (space for four cars), plus a separate large lot behind it (space for more than 30 cars). It was nice to be able to park so easily.

These are photos of the inside of Hojueseo on Hoejeon Chobap. There were table seats as well as bar seats (four people at a table / two at the bar). It seemed especially popular for couple dates and family visits.

There are high chairs too, so you can bring your little ones. It is also a nice place to visit as a family.

Sushi from the rail and tablet orders

I sat at the bar. There was sashimi soy sauce, wasabi, tissues, paper cups, and a tablet. If you post a review for the review event, you get one plate free.

You can order any sushi you want on the tablet, or take it from the conveyor belt. Your ordered sushi is brought to your table. If you order fried items on the tablet, they bring them out warmed up.

They served the jang-guk (clear soup) in a cup like this, haha. It was an insulated cup, so it stayed warm the whole time. The handle made it easy to sip.

Ah, this conveyor belt drives me crazy. I loved that it kept coming packed full, without any empty plates on the rail. There were desserts as well as sushi.

Sushi that lets the ingredients shine

Now I am going to pick out the sushi I want and dig in.

The sushi at Hojueseo on Hoejeon Chobap is all about letting the ingredients' natural flavors come through. Rather than being overwhelmed by sauce, the salmon tasted like salmon and the shrimp tasted like shrimp, which I loved. They were appetizing combinations of various ingredients and sauces, not just sushi topped with raw fish.

The salmon sushi I especially loved

The salmon sushi was especially delicious, haha. Salmon lovers should definitely eat lots of it. They have everything from salmon belly and seared salmon to raw salmon and aged salmon. The egg sushi also comes in lots of combinations of sauces and ingredients.

It has been a while since I came home this stuffed from sushi. I really enjoyed it ^0^

Hojueseo on Hoejeon Chobap is a great-value conveyor-belt sushi restaurant in Ocheon-eup, Nam-gu, Pohang, with every plate fixed at ₩2,200!! The restaurant was spacious and clean, and the staff were kind, so I had a pleasant dinner. I especially liked that there was plenty of space between the tables.

It was even better because sushi was replenished so quickly that there were hardly any empty plates on the rail. If the sushi you wanted was not there, you could order it on the tablet and a staff member would bring it right to your table; the fried items were warmed up too, which was convenient.

The salmon sushi in particular was seriously delicious, so please try lots of itㅠㅠ The Greek-style braised salmon avocado sushi was my absolute favorite... haha ❤️ The salmon belly was nice and thick too, so definitely have plenty of that. And the fact that every plate was ₩2,200 made me so happy.
