I’d like to introduce Hojueseo on Hoejeon Chobap, a great conveyor-belt sushi spot in Pohang that I visited on my last Pohang trip~~

Hojueseo on Hoejeon Chobap information and parking
One advantage is the ample parking, which makes parking easy.
An Australian-feeling exterior and spacious interior
First, the exterior~ Before visiting, the name—conveyor-belt sushi from “Australia”—felt unfamiliar and unusual, but doesn’t the outside make you feel as if you’ve come to Australia? Haha

The brick-like exterior has a nice feel too!
Here’s the interior~ It was quite spacious and pleasant to start with. We were greeted as we entered, and all the staff were friendly overall. There are tables for two, which are great for a pair, as well as larger tables for bigger groups. Maybe because the weather was so nice that day, the sunlight made the interior look so pretty.

Since there were two of us, we sat at a table for two. Plates of sushi keep circling around like this, while the staff make sushi fresh right in front of you. Every staff member was wearing a sanitary cap and mask, which gave me confidence in the hygiene.

It was my first time seeing jangguk (Japanese-style clear soup) served in a cup, and it was convenient and nice haha.

Sushi on the belt—what should we pick first?
There were so many sushi pieces that looked delicious at a glance, right? Haha. I had such a hard time deciding what to eat first.

We started our first plate with the classic choice: salmon, haha.

I was surprised by the quality of the sashimi even though each plate was only ₩2,200! The best part of conveyor-belt sushi is getting to eat the sushi you want right away, isn’t it?
The premium-looking sushi pieces each came one to a plate, and their quality was so good that I really enjoyed them.

It was surprisingly fun to think about which sushi to have next while eating, haha. The rakgyo (pickled scallions) travelling around with the sushi was quite cute too... haha.

Order the sushi you want at the kiosk
You can pick from the rotating belt, but if the sushi you want doesn’t seem to be coming around, it was nice that you can order it from the kiosk at each table, haha. There are plenty of side dishes as well as sushi.

They make it as soon as you order, so it comes out quickly! Haha. There were lots of staff, so I think another big advantage was how quickly everything arrived.

The tuna and flounder fin sushi I liked most
All the sushi was delicious, but personally, I was especially pleased with this tuna sushi.

The flounder fin sushi we had last was also wonderfully rich and nuttyㅠ

A sweet melon dessert after the meal
Desserts like these travel around among the sushi too! They’re perfect for freshening up after a meal.

The melon going around looked so delicious that I picked it, and wow, it was really incredibly sweet.

Everything was perfect right through to the end... I ate so, so well! (Evidence of our hard work eating... haha)

Hojueseo on Hoejeon Chobap, which I stopped by during this Pohang trip, was memorable enough to be one of the most satisfying meals of the trip. With trustworthy hygiene, kind staff, a clean interior, and above all, high-quality food, it’s the kind of restaurant I would visit regularly if it were near my home. I definitely want to recommend it to anyone living in Pohang or planning a Pohang trip!
