Chuseok is coming up soon, so I found this place while looking for a rice cake shop haha. I was actually planning to come at Chuseok, but the rice cakes looked so delicious that I begged my husband to go right away lololol. Of course, I’m planning to visit again at Chuseok too~~~~~~~~

Here’s the parking lot. I was honestly a little worried there might not be one ㅠㅠ I’m out and about with a baby, so if there’s no parking, we have to walk a long way and it’s hard. But Tteokmama Cheongju Yullyang Branch has a parking lot right behind the building. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Lucky⭐⭐⭐⭐

We came into the shop. These days, lots of rice cake shops sell only frozen rice cakes, or sell rice cakes brought in from somewhere else, but Tteokmama’s Cheongju Yullyang Branch makes everything itself like this haha. It feels trustworthy~~~~~~

Usually rice cake shops don’t have anywhere to sit and eat, but Tteokmama Cheongju Yullyang Branch had a reaaaaally big space for eating haha. There are group tables too, so groups can be comfortable!! My husband likes rice cakes more than bread, and I thought this would be perfect for people like him!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, let’s start looking at the rice cakes lol. Every day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., there are all kinds of rice cakes freshly steamed from warm steamers, plus lots of snacks that go well with them!!!! The rice cakes are made so prettily too, which really caught my eye ^_^

Because they make everything carefully without cutting corners on a single ingredient or extra ingredient, the rice cakes can take a little time to make. Since it’s run like a café, of course they have drinks too haha. I immediately ordered an iced Americano to wake myself up in the morning lololol~~

The Americano tasted better than at other places too. I think the owner is serious not only about rice cakes, but drinks as well~~~~!!!!!

As soon as I got home, rice cake unboxing? lololol. Such a thoughtful touch to wrap each one individually so it wouldn’t get on our hands 👍 The rice cakes are chewier than elsewhere too 👍👍👍👍👍

Honey seolgi (steamed rice cake with honey)!!! Usually honey seolgi is too sweet for me, but Tteokmama Cheongju Yullyang Branch’s was just sweet enough—I feel like I could eat 10 of them!!!

Frozen pumpkin nutritious glutinous rice cake. Honestly, because it was frozen I didn’t expect much, but is it okay for it to be this chewy and delicious? 🥰🥰🥰🥰
