Two ways in: front and back doors at Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch

'Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch' has two separate entrances. There's a back door that connects through the inside of the building, and a front door that opens directly to the outside, so you can enter the restaurant from either side.

What are the booths and counter seats like inside?

This is the overall interior of 'Robadayakki Sodam Yeouido Branch,' with wood-toned decor and soft lighting that really gave off that izakaya feel! Each table has a partition installed, naturally blocking sightlines from neighboring tables, which was nice for enjoying a quiet, comfortable meal and drinks.

And toward the front of the kitchen there are also counter seats! If you're visiting as a couple or a party of two, I'd recommend sitting here. It really feels like you're in Japan ~

Check out the majesty of the fish hanging next to the counter seats.. it's huge, and it looks fresh just by looking at it, wow. Looks so good.

From grilled dishes to soups, fried items, and various side dishes, the menu is pretty extensive, so it's great for a full meal or for a light second-round drink. The plump grilled Chilean sea bass came out *,* served with rakkyo (pickled scallion), salad, and lemon juice on the side, which made the plating look really pretty too. The flesh was thick and moist, easy to pick apart, and the sweet-savory sauce paired beautifully with the fish's soft, chewy texture. The portion was also bigger than I expected, so it ended up being a pretty filling side dish.

The grilled cod roe came in two pieces, cut into neat bite-sized portions, served with mayo sauce and cucumber. Dipping the salty grilled roe deep into the mayo sauce gave it an incredibly nutty, savory flavor. It was salty in the best way, which made it pair perfectly with drinks — really the kind of side dish made for a night out.

Curtained inner seats for a private table

After finishing my meal, I looked around the restaurant and noticed all sorts of details giving off Japanese vibes everywhere, which let me really enjoy the izakaya atmosphere. The inner seats have curtains too, so you don't have to worry about outside eyes and can enjoy your meal and drinks even more privately.
