Let me tell you about the chaos I went through right when I arrived >< The building itself is huge and stylish so it stands out from far away, but here's a tip so you don't get lost like I did.

Don't just charge up the outdoor stairs on the side of the building — go through the large automatic doors right in front on the 1st floor, and the elevator is right there!!

When the elevator opens on the 2nd floor, there are doors on both sides, which can be a little confusing at first. The door on the left leads to the private rooms for the scalp healing spa, and the door on the right is Charles Lee Hair Salon. Instead of just walking straight into the left door, go into Charles Lee on the right first and tell them you have a scalp reservation — the staff there will kindly guide you to the private room on the left.

They share the same floor so it can be confusing, but apparently the system and the care itself are completely separate from the salon — it's an independent, specialized scalp center.

The center normally offers a diagnosis course that uses professional equipment to precisely analyze scalp type, balance, and pore condition, but it seems like this precision diagnosis step needs to be checked separately and scheduled when you book 🥹 This time I skipped the diagnosis and went straight into the Scalp Healing Spa (₩100,000) course, but next time I'm definitely booking the scalp analysis too so I can check the before-and-after numbers.

The manager who took care of me wasn't the chatty type. Instead of small talk or unnecessary conversation, she stayed quietly focused on the care techniques. Honestly, I preferred it that way — no over-talking meant I could relax completely without any pressure ><

Warm eye mask and heated scalp steam

As soon as I lay down in the comfortable care chair, she gently placed a warm eye mask over my eyes — everything went dark and my scattered thoughts just disappeared. The first step was scalp warm steam! Warm steam mist sprayed in between the hair and scalp, softening up all the stubborn sebum and dead skin cells packed in the pores, and my whole body got heavy and relaxed as the fatigue melted away 🩷

The highlight: scalp acupressure and trapezius massage

The manual acupressure and trapezius massage that followed were truly the highlight of the day (☆▽☆). She pressed firmly into my scalp with her fingertips, then worked all the way from the nape of my neck down to the collarbone line, releasing trapezius muscles that had gone stiff as rock — her grip strength was so impressive I couldn't help but be amazed!! Heh, with care this thorough, I get why head spa nomads in Cheonan finally settle down here.

To finish, she gave me a refreshing shampoo and acupressure on the bed — my scalp felt so cool and refreshed, I loved it 💕

Finishing with a blow-dry at Charles Lee hair salon

After the care, I moved over to Charles Lee next door for a blow-dry (I really need to manage my hair loss early — all I see is the M-shape,,)

Once the care was all done, they blow-dried my damp hair, combing it neatly into place with a round brush for a tidy finish (the salon staff handled this part). Standing up and touching my scalp, I could immediately feel that the stuffy oiliness and heaviness had all been washed away,, 😆
