I visited Pino Cafe a month ago with a friend and it left a strong impression because the vibe was so good 🖤 This time I came back with my husband for a weekday evening date!

Why return to Pino Cafe Cheonan on a weekday evening?

I loved it the first time, but visiting in the evening had a different charm. We drove out toward Pungse and arrived to find, true to a large café with a huge outdoor space, a relaxed atmosphere from the entrance onward. In the photo, the building on the left is the annex, and the one on the right is the main building!

Pino Cafe has a brunch menu and a small selection of baked goods. Even though it's the brunch menu, you can order it in the evening too!

You can only go out to the outdoor area after ordering, so we ordered our food first and then went out to look around haha

Pino Cafe's garden in particular is really well put together. Since we arrived right as the sun was starting to set, the lights came on one by one and the atmosphere got even prettier. Before you reach the garden there's also a fountain and a charming little photo zone.

Pretty in the daytime, but pretty at night too 🤍

This time the garden was full of orange flowers in bloom, with a red windmill in the middle that caught the eye. The flower bed spreads out wide around the windmill, so it's great for photos and also nice for just strolling around.

Pino Cafe also has outdoor tents, but these are paid. The price seems to change by season, so make sure to check before you use one!

There are board games inside and air conditioning too,,, is this even a café??? 😻

It felt less like a café in the city and more like a spot to rest in nature for a bit, so it was nice walking around and chatting with my husband.

A quiet weekday evening in the Pino Cafe annex

By the time our food was about ready, we came inside. I actually prefer the annex to the main building haha Overall it was clean and spacious, with brown chairs and white tables arranged in harmony. There were plenty of window seats too, which looked great for leisurely sipping coffee. Since it was a weekday evening, it wasn't crowded, so we could relax even more, and it was nice for a quiet date.

This time we also ordered a proper meal, going for the rosé bulgogi pasta and the charcoal-grilled whole pork belly steak.

The rosé bulgogi pasta combined a soft rosé sauce with bulgogi (marinated beef), and it turned out to be more filling than expected. It was a little spicy, so it never felt heavy, and it was delicious :-)

The charcoal-grilled whole pork belly steak came with a big hunk of pork belly as the main event — plenty to share between two people ෆ⸒⸒ The meat was thick with a great chewy bite, and paired with the pasta it made for a full, satisfying meal.

I added chili cheese sauce to the fries! They added it for ₩500 extra, and I was completely satisfied 🖤

Apparently this sauce is normally only offered with the 'special lunch' menu haha If you pay extra they'll give it to you separately, which was great.

The salt bread carrot rapée jambon sandwich was also amazing... 🖤 I wasn't expecting much but it was genuinely so good.

Pino Cafe felt like a place with real reasons to keep coming back rather than a one-time visit 🤍 I was so happy after going with a friend that I brought my husband too, and we had another great time. If you're looking for a large café near Cheonan for a drive plus café visit, I'd recommend Pino Cafe in Pungse :)
