Cheonan kid-friendly café with whole-wheat chicken sandwich: Pino Cafe
In short
Pino Cafe Cheonan is a large outdoor garden café in Pungse-myeon, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, at the foot of Mount Taehaksan. In late August the writer walked the garden of yellow cosmos and a red windmill, then shared the signature whole-wheat chicken sandwich set with an iced Americano, which filled up two people for lunch. With baby chairs, a diaper-changing table and a microwave, Pino Cafe Cheonan is an especially easy stop for a family outing with young kids.

Today I want to introduce a café my family visits often. It's a large café where the outdoor spaces change with the seasons, so there's really no reason not to go. It was so spacious and comfortable, with delicious brunch and a beautiful garden that changes its look every season, that I felt happy the moment I arrived. Let's get into the detailed review!

Pino Cafe Cheonan: hours, address and the basics

Parking and what Pino Cafe looks like from outside
Pino Cafe's parking lot is very spacious, so even at peak weekend hours or for less confident drivers, you can park without any stress.

This is Pino Cafe's exterior.
Tip! If parking runs short on weekends, you can park at the Mount Taehaksan Recreational Forest lot and just walk over!

Daisies and green barley fields in spring, hydrangeas in summer, yellow cosmos in autumn, and a Christmas garden in winter, haha — I guess I need to come back every season :)
What's on the menu at Pino Cafe Cheonan
Pino Cafe's brunch menu ranges from pizza and risotto to hearty platters and sides. The drinks menu is huge too, from coffee to ades and juices.

Here's the menu board! The brunch menu is served throughout opening hours, so keep that in mind.

There were lots of dessert breads too! So many types of salt bread that I want to try them next time. We came for brunch this time, so bread will have to wait for another visit, haha!
Indoor seating and the garden of yellow cosmos and a red windmill
The main building at Pino Cafe already has quite a lot of seating on its own.

The interior recently expanded from the main building into a new annex, so there's even more room to relax and enjoy your visit.
Now let's head outside, haha! Right as you step out there's extra seating, and then — the star of the show — the outdoor garden...!!!
Pino Cafe's biggest draw is this vast, gorgeous outdoor space! The decorations change with each season — spring, summer, autumn, winter — so you get a fresh scene no matter when you visit. When I went (late August), the yellow cosmos were in bloom :) They looked stunning alongside the red windmill! It's the perfect photo spot — you can't take a bad shot anywhere here.
If you walk a little further up from the outdoor garden, you'll find the picnic zone.

There's an outdoor picnic zone with a separate rental fee, which makes it a great spot for group gatherings too.

Pets are welcome too, and I saw plenty of people out enjoying the day with their beloved dogs.
Is the whole-wheat chicken sandwich set enough for two?
One great thing about Pino Cafe's brunch is that it's not limited to a specific time — you can order it any time. So even if you visit late morning or in the afternoon, you can still enjoy a delicious brunch.

We ordered the signature 'whole-wheat chicken sandwich set.'

It's a hearty full set that includes the sandwich, so my husband and I shared just this one brunch dish with an iced Americano and were completely full for lunch. The special sauces served with the sandwich paired really well with the brunch!!
The flavor wasn't too strong or unusual, so it's the kind of taste anyone would enjoy without complaint — we happily finished it down to the last bite.

The sandwich is seriously packed full, right? Haha.
Baby chairs, changing table and other kid-friendly facilities
On top of everything else, Pino Cafe has baby chairs, a diaper-changing table, and a microwave all thoughtfully provided, making it a really comfortable place for families with kids to visit.

Is Pino Cafe Cheonan worth a visit?
Today I visited Pino Cafe, one of my family's absolute favorite cafés. 'Pino Cafe' in Pungse, Cheonan, nails all three — delicious food, a comfortable and pretty space, and convenient parking. It's a great spot for a romantic date with your partner, and if you're planning a relaxed weekend outing with kids or a pet, I highly recommend stopping by!
